Phone Home

Oh boy. I did not think I was going to be able to get out of bed this morning! With only 6 hours of sleep my eyeballs were glued shut. And having beer in my system didn’t help

this !
But after a shower and some liquids, I feel much better. It’s gonna be a long day – and an even longer weekend because our flight to New York leaves at 6AM tomorrow, meaning we’ll have to get up at 3-something. Don’t know when I’ll be able to catch up on sleep!!

My wake-up breakfast was a smoothie – transportable cause I gotta leave in just a second (after eating the granola off the top :mgreen: ) and replenishing.

IMG_3537 (640x427)

Contents:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • ~1/3 cup frozen fresh pineapple
  • 1 packet Amazing Meal Pom – Mango flavor
  • 1/4 cup raw rolled oats – for energy, fiber, stable blood sugar and fun!

To be honest, not the most delicious mix I have ever eaten.

IMG_3532 (640x427)

That is TOTALLY E.T.’s head!!! Rotate your neck.

(And funny because someone said yesterday that my 7 looked like ET’s head and I laughed hysterically. I love E.T.)

Adios!

errh ET creeps me out :s
smoothies are so hit and miss sometimes; I made one the other day and it was one of the most disgusting things I’d ever had, yet I’d changed one minor ingredient from the first time I made it, when it was delicious!! Weird :s
Maybe you could sleep on the plane tomorrow? Have a good day anyways 🙂

I always cried like crazy when the awful goverment people took ET away. Than I came to a point where I wouldn’t watch the movie because of it. I haven’t seen it since. 🙂

How do you eat smoothies in the freezing winter?! I have tried, but I just can’t do it. It leaves me chilled to the bone. They always look so good though.
I have my glucose test for the baby today so no sugar for me all day – which means I am craving sugar and your smoothie. At least this is just more proof that a strict diet does not work – not allowing yourself to have something always makes you want it more. I can tough it out for a day though – especially for medical/baby reasons!

My sister won an E.T Doll from Brownies when we were kids, I had wanted it. One of my uncles also had one the finger used light up when it said E.T go home (can’t remember the exact words).

I also liked ALF and there was a raffle for a stuffed one when I was in elementary school, when the little girl who won got it everyone rushed to touch it.

I was terrified of ET when I was little. I had this blanket on my bed with a bear on it and for some reason I thought if I touched the bear in my sleep I would turn into ET. I spent a few sleepless nights lying cold outside my covers being afraid to roll over. Weird, I know.
