HUGE knock on wood!!!!!!!!!!
But so far, timing has been great. The snow started to fall in Missoula, but we got out right on time. My first flight was all reading and only an hour and a half.
Welcome to Denver!
I knew exactly what to do and where to go. Thank you terminal B for having a Jamba!
I’m trying to get back on East Coast time so consider this my 5PM snack. A Berry Topper with the best Nature’s Path granola and banana!
Dinner is packed up for later. And it involves bread! I hope to eat it in Washington around 7PM or so.
Yesterday I was able to pack up some veggies and take a few slices of bread to make a sandwich for my flight. Also including 2 slices of cheddar cheese. Luckily we had a fridge to store the ingredients last night (although plan B was to put them on the balcony since it’s below freezing outside!).
Matt assembled the sandwich for me this morning, adding in salt and pepper from a to-go packet and wrapped it up GH style!
I’ve also got an apple to munch
And a Doubletree cookie!!
HOPING to be sleeping my bed tonight! My flight to Cville lands at 11PM and Karen will be there to pick me up!
Have a great flight- be safe! Your meals look delish, ps 🙂

Looks like you are ready to go for gh! Will you all be going in crazy early to bake breads like some places? Safe flying!
I lovvveee Jamba Juice! I wish there was one in C’vile.
…and by C’Vile, of course I mean C’ville. 😉

I love Jamba Juice with all my soul… definitely my favorite smoothie place!
Courtney @ The Granola Chronicles says
Safe travels to you!!
That picture of your sandwich cracked me up and reminds me of a lady that I used to work with. She was substantially older and very “frugal”. She would bring a quarter head of lettuce (no exaggeration) and one slice of cheese to work with her. At lunchtime she would make a sandwich out of it with the cafeteria’s bread and condiment packets. To see her eating that sandwich with a HUGE amount of lettuce and a thin little slice of cheese on squished up white bread was hilarious!
your 5:00 snack looks yummy! a perfect combination of nutrition for a traveling boost. happy traveling!
Jil @ Big City, Lil Kitchen says
Safe travels! Jealous of that sandwich… so good!

AH! the Denver airport gives me nightmares still.. last time I was there they FORGOT about daylight savings time! it was chaos!
Mmmm I love Jamba! Fly safe!
Allison @ Happy Tales says
You guys DID luck out on getting out of MO! I hope you get to see your own bed tonight, too…but I’m also glad that you’re going into traveling with a good mentality and understanding that..mishaps do happen, and flights do get missed. I bet eating meals at the times of your destination is a great way to get over jet-lat… smart girl!
Mary Frances says
They went to Montana (MT), not Missouri (MO) 🙂
GAH, just spent 7 hours in Denver on Tuesday. Terminal B and I are close friends. I found delicious smoked salmon summer rolls at Itza Wrap, Itza Bowl that were awesome 🙂
It’s sad that I recognize this terminal of the Denver airport – I’ve got the healthy eating options all worked out for a couple of airports now! Have a safe trip home, and I can’t wait to visit your Great Harvest when it is open and I am out there visiting family!
lynn (The Actors Diet) says
doubletree cookies…salivating! they are quite wonderful.
I just left Denver on Friday and that airport only has one terminal for ALL FLIGHT. I couldn’t believe it! Looks like you made out pretty good. Happy travels and hope you have a safe flight! 😉

Mmm Jamba Juice! Always such a yummy treat!
Chelsea @ One Healthy Munchkin says
I always pack my tomatoes separately from the sandwich so it doesn’t get soggy. That’s smart of Matt to protect the bread from the fillings with two pieces of cheese! I can tell he’s going to make a great sandwich maker. 😉

How did you get your mouth around that thing?!! 🙂
Hope your flight is safe !! Your food looks yummy 🙂

Those double tree cookies are like crack! So frickin’ good! I love going to work conferences only for the cookies because goodness knows talking about government documents is NOT exciting

Veggie- filled sandwiches are the best– even if I can’t manage to fit my mouth around them 🙂
J3nn (Jenn's Menu and Lifestyle Blog) says
I need to bring my own food next time I”m on a plane! You always make airplane sandwiches look so yummy. 🙂
I’ve never had Jamba Juice! It looks really good. I guess I need to wait until I’m in an airport or in a town that has one to try it. 🙂 I LOVE Doubletree cookies! Why are they so freaking good? I remember when I was younger, if my family and I stayed in a Doubletree, my sister and I would devour the cookies before we even made it up to the hotel room! Haha! Love them!
Ashley P. (The Vegetable Life) says
Okay… now I am craving Jamba!
Thank goodness you weren’t flying into Denver on Wednesday night! We were getting another winter snow which resulted in yucky road conditions. I am so sick of snow.
Sandwich looks great! I would so much rather eat a packed dinner instead of airport food.
