Perfect Timing

HUGE knock on wood!!!!!!!!!!

But so far, timing has been great. The snow started to fall in Missoula, but we got out right on time. My first flight was all reading and only an hour and a half.

Welcome to Denver!

IMG_8786Blog

I knew exactly what to do and where to go. Thank you terminal B for having a Jamba!

IMG_8787Blog

I’m trying to get back on East Coast time so consider this my 5PM snack. A Berry Topper with the best Nature’s Path granola and banana!

IMG_8788Blog

Dinner is packed up for later. And it involves bread! I hope to eat it in Washington around 7PM or so.

IMG_8789Blog

Yesterday I was able to pack up some veggies and take a few slices of bread to make a sandwich for my flight. Also including 2 slices of cheddar cheese. Luckily we had a fridge to store the ingredients last night (although plan B was to put them on the balcony since it’s below freezing outside!).

IMG_8780Blog

Matt assembled the sandwich for me this morning, adding in salt and pepper from a to-go packet and wrapped it up GH style!

IMG_8782Blog

I’ve also got an apple to munch

IMG_8783Blog

And a Doubletree cookie!!

IMG_8784Blog

HOPING to be sleeping my bed tonight! My flight to Cville lands at 11PM and Karen will be there to pick me up!

That picture of your sandwich cracked me up and reminds me of a lady that I used to work with. She was substantially older and very “frugal”. She would bring a quarter head of lettuce (no exaggeration) and one slice of cheese to work with her. At lunchtime she would make a sandwich out of it with the cafeteria’s bread and condiment packets. To see her eating that sandwich with a HUGE amount of lettuce and a thin little slice of cheese on squished up white bread was hilarious!

I hope you get to see your own bed tonight, too…but I’m also glad that you’re going into traveling with a good mentality and understanding that..mishaps do happen, and flights do get missed. I bet eating meals at the times of your destination is a great way to get over jet-lat… smart girl!

I always pack my tomatoes separately from the sandwich so it doesn’t get soggy. That’s smart of Matt to protect the bread from the fillings with two pieces of cheese! I can tell he’s going to make a great sandwich maker. 😉

I remember when I was younger, if my family and I stayed in a Doubletree, my sister and I would devour the cookies before we even made it up to the hotel room! Haha! Love them!

Thank goodness you weren’t flying into Denver on Wednesday night! We were getting another winter snow which resulted in yucky road conditions. I am so sick of snow.
Sandwich looks great! I would so much rather eat a packed dinner instead of airport food.
