I’ve got an early lunch meeting today, so I decided to do exercise first thing. And since I haven’t been to cycle since AFRICA I decided today would be a good day.
I got up an knew I’d be gone for about an hour and a half, so I had a snack: Chocolate Vanilla Almond Butter on a graham cracker. Nut butters always sit well with me during exercise, but I guess I am used to not eating because even this little guy felt a little heavy in my stomach at first –
I biked to the gym (in sunshine – yay!) and arrived just in time for a 45-minute cycle class. I didn’t feel like I was pushing myself that hard, but my HRM had me in the 150-160 bpm, so it turned out to be a nice burn.
I biked home, showered and had a lighter breakfast because of my early lunch –
- Vanilla Oikos
- ~8 blackberries
- Sprinkle coconut
- ~1/3 cup+ muesli Kelsey gave me a while back. It was awesome! The oats were raw, but I think they were toasted lightly because they had a great crunchy.
- Drizzle honey
I’m meeting my internship supervisor at 11. Not sure when or where we’re going to lunch, but I’m excited for a surprise!
