Of course I had to share a small selection of the hundreds of beautiful photos Sarah captured of our family a few weeks ago. Somehow the stars aligned and both boys were happy for the whole hour (after they both started the shoot pouting – haha.) Sarah did an amazing job, and the hard part is choosing which ones to frame for our house! Please share your favorite.
The opal ring I’m wearing on my right hand in the photos was a gift from Thomas and his mom when Birch was born. It was Eileen’s grandmother’s ring, and they had it sized for me as a surprise and gave it to me the night we came home from the hospital. No one realized until after the fact that opal is actually the October birth stone – perfectly aligned for my October baby and me!

What a wonderful set of family photos! I think my favorite is one early in the post where you have Birch in your arms and Thomas is giving Mazen a piggyback. The sun is providing the perfect light between and within all of you.
Does Mazen enjoy having his photo taken? Does he ever put up a fuss? He looks like a total natural. 🙂
