On French Toast

I moved from being “on a roll” to on French toast!

Last night was a success: bath + reading. I didn’t do yoga, but I did get a massage for my tense shoulders 😉

I decided yesterday to move my workout from early AM to late PM, so I’ll be doing something active this afternoon after a day of sitting at my desk working. But I did get up and do yoga this morning!! In my bedroom again, which I loved. I’m sure I’ll get sick of that in a few weeks and will move to another room! The dining room table perhaps? J/K.

After yoga I came down for breakfast. I didn’t know what I wanted! I didn’t want pumpkin oats, and we’re still out of bananas. It was a little too cold for yogurt and cereal wasn’t appealing. I remember the Fruit + Grain Great Harvest Bread Matt brought home on Tuesday and decided on that (he seemed to get his feelings hurt when he asked me yesterday why I hadn’t eaten it). Then I decided to have an EGG with it. But after getting the egg out, French toast popped into mind and breakfast was born. So much mental energy to decide what to eat!

I took the egg, mixed it with some milk and vanilla and dipped the bread in. Seared on both sides for 3-4 minutes. Topped with some Naturally More and maple syrup!

IMG_4051 (1024x768)

On the side, I got my fruit + dairy. ~2/3 cup TJ’s greek with blueberries, blackberries + flax.

IMG_4050 (1024x768)

And some coffee, which was gross and bitter today. Not sure why?

Bar Swap

Reader Anne has some Pear Strudel Clif bars she wants to swap with someone, so I thought I’d try to initiate a big bar swap today. (I already agreed to swap 2 of them 🙂 ) If you have bars you want to swap, post them below with your email and hopefully you guys can match up for some you want to try!

Friday Dance!!

one of the best things about a big house with lots of rooms is the variety of places to do yoga. i think i’ve used every floor but i still have quite a few rooms left to try.
i imagine the dining table would require extra good balance! and care to avoid the chandelier (i will put this in the column of reasons why it’s good to be short)

It’s not a bar, but would you be interested in trying PB2? I have two unopened jars, one regular and one chocolate. Or I guess would anyone that’s reading this be interested in swapping something for that?

    Hi Kath,

I am not sure what time RHONYC comes on now. I watched it last season. It is unreal though, some people are so wealthy! It’s crazy!!! I like how Bethnney is not a back stabbing you know what like the others….
