New Feet!

IMG_1821 (480x640) IMG_1822 (480x640)

Adidas, Asiacs and now Saucony!

IMG_1815 (480x640)

Our guy was a pro. I have medium arches and my feet bend inwards. Matt’s stride is perfect but he has very high arches.

IMG_1818 (480x640)

IMG_1817 (480x640)

IMG_1816 (640x480)

The purchase. Medium support, medium cushion. Can’t wait to use ’em!

IMG_1823 (640x480)

5:00 on a Friday and we were in the mood for a wine tasting. Lucky us, there was one at the Total Wine that I iPhone Googled right as we were passing!

IMG_1824 (640x480)

They had 9 wines to taste, so of course we did the whole flight.

IMG_1825 (480x640) IMG_1833 (640x480)

IMG_1827 (480x640)

Somebody spilled red on his button down and I would like to give a personal shout out to Tide Stain Remover, which I received a sample of at BlogHer that took the wine right out!!

IMG_1831 (480x640) IMG_1843 (640x480)

We were home at 6:30 and dinner was served within 15 minutes

IMG_1838 (640x480)

Grilled Trader Joe’s salmon patties with gorgonzola on Whole Grain Goodness buns from Great Harvest
IMG_1840 (640x480)

IMG_1835 (480x640)

And eggplant “fries,” which I made by just grilling baby eggplants in fry shape and dipping in ketchup

IMG_1839 (480x640)

+ an Oktoberfest beer sampling by Matt

Off to watch Conan. Might need a snack later. Will let you know 😉

Congrats on the fab new kicks!

Oh my gosh, I had practically the same dinner! I just love those TJ burgers. We must have been on the same food vibe today.

    Enjoy your evening!

Yay for new sneakers! It is so fun going to the shops to get them :). I’ve never tried Saucony, don’t know if I could part with my Kayano’s now. I’ll be interested to here what you think of them.

    Nice kicks!
I just recently bought new asics online — I know, bad idea for running shoes, as you never really know how they are going to feel — and I love them, but… I have high arches and my feet also bend inward or downward, really (not point inward like pigeon-toed, more like the inside of my foot falls a bit). Now I wish that I went to a store to get fitted. Perhaps arch inserts would help?

i love the little wine tasters-they make me think of getting cold medicine when i was a kid…. but i LOVED the cold medicine (weird? it was grape flavored), so it’s a happy association.

I love new running shoes and I always seem to get the same brand just the updated version. I haven’t had a problem yet so why change.

I love gorgonzola on just about anything but never would have thought to add it to salmon. Next time I have both in house I may have to try it. I love how you food bloggers make me think of things I would never do on my own 🙂

I love getting new shoes! I went to a place once where I had to dip my foot in water, then walk, and then based on my footprint they got me the right shoe – it worked!

Oooo those are the running shoes I wear, same size and everything! I have not had a problem with my feet falling asleep but I also got a full size larger then I normally wear, it was suggested since I run long distances and my feet will swell, the larger size is needed. Did they recommend this?
