Mlog

Matt blogging here while Kath gets ready in our hotel.  We were sluggish this morning but managed to go for a short run around Goucher college.  The weather was great, the sun was shining, and it felt like about 3.5 miles.  Just enough to anger the blood!

Afterwards we met Larbs and Buzz at the Sheraton Club Lounge, got some breakfast, and brought it back to the room.  Combined with some of the leftovers from the other morning, it was a nice and light breakfast.

From the hotel (plus an Alliebar… I like these a lot by the way!)

IMG_0634 (640x427) (2)

And some pretty tasty eggins over a pretty decent wheat slice:

Whee!

We have an exciting destination for lunch!

P.S.  The Younger-Monson family is QUITE excited about this!

YES. You are missing out! Start at the beginning. If you don’t like to sit and read, get the books on cd from the library–Jim Dale is an EXCELLENT reader!

Yes, you are! You’ll fly through the books – they are so good. Especially if you need a release from everyday life. They did an excellent job with the movies too. Check it out!

I wish I could try an Alliebar, or a GloBar. They’re popping up all over the place and I’m super jealous of everyone’s HLS swag! I hear rave reviews about both.

Harry Potter books are AWESOME, and as far as the movies go, they aren’t terrible movie-adaptations as far as book-to-movie movies go.

Last night’s post was the last thing I looked at before going to sleep… and I ended up dreaming about you and Matt, Kath! We were on some kind of huge bus traveling back to Nashville (where I live). You were asking for places to eat, etc. We ended up somewhere that had a place for us to cook and Matt was teaching my husband and I how to make pizza dough. Really strange! I had quite the laugh when I woke up! Had to share it πŸ™‚ Hope you don’t think I’m nuts now, though! LOL

By the way, Kath, I’ve been reading your blog for over a year now, and I LOVE it. You’ve really inspired me to eat healthier with your fun posts, awesome pictures, and easy recipes πŸ™‚ I recently started blogging as a way to relax (medical school takes up a major part of my life). My blog isn’t specifically a food blog, and I like to write about what’s happening in my life.

However, I love cooking, taking pictures of food, reading cookbooks (which I don’t think is lame…), and of course, reading food blogs. I just started posting food related posts, and today was my first one, actually!!

I just wanted to thank you for all the inspiration. You really rock!
