Friends Don’t Let Friends Hate Oatmeal!

First of all, a huge “thank you” is in order for Kath, blogger extraordinaire and all-around amazing girl, for letting me do a guest post. I’ve been reading Kath’s blog for a while, and I know I’m not the only one who finds her to be such an inspiration—the hard work she puts into her blog, her devotion to healthy living, and her compassion are incredible.
After deliberating for quite a while, I finally decided on a subject for my guest post.
Presenting everyone’s favorite food topic: Breakfast!
Okay, so maybe “dessert” beats out “breakfast” as #1 food topic. But some of the following breakfast recipes taste so sinful you might as well be eating dessert for your morning meal!
For example, Cookie Dough Oatmeal
It has all the nutrition of a bowl of oats, yet it tastes like eating warm, gooey chocolate-chip cookies straight from the oven.
Soft, chewy, and oh-so-cinnamon-y. Definitely worth waking up for.
But breakfast can be much more than oatmeal…
One of my favorite morning meals is Banana Bread in a Bowl
The sweetness of banana bread, the creaminess of pudding… what more can you ask of a breakfast?
Another yummy Breakfast in a Bowl? Brownie Batter! Yes, that’s what she said.
Or, if you’re inclined towards the savory, you can’t go wrong with a Mad Tofu Scramble.
(Above, Mad Scramble with toast, almonds, and Peachy-Green Ice Cream.
Speaking of ice cream for breakfast, no one says you can’t have Chocolate-covered Strawberry Ice Cream as your first meal of the day.
And go ahead and eat that S’more Cupcake for breakfast if you want. I’ll never tell ;).
So, who still believes “dessert” to be a more-interesting topic than “breakfast”?
