I’ve Got The Blues… And Pinks And Greens

It’s our last hot day of spring before some cooler weather takes over, so I’m hoping to spend as much time outside as I can. EXCEPT I’m going to see The Hunger Games, which is the only reason on the earth I’d go inside a dark building ; )

I am reading the Hunger Games trilogy right now and seriously CAN’T STOP. It’s addicting. I’m to Part 3 in Catching Fire. Can’t wait to finish this and Mockingjay so I can go see Hunger Games! & I know everyone tells you this, but your dishes are gorgeous. Have a great day, Kath!

Congratulations!!! Boys are so fun 🙂 I’m really looking forward to seeing the Hungers Games! Thinking I am going to go on Sunday. Hopefully by then everyone else would have seen it and the theatre will be nice and quite… Hahaha I don’t think there is much chance of that happening but it does sound good.

Hi Kath! I am going back to school from spring break and I need to do my grocery shopping soon for my dorm. Do you have any recommendations of healthy cereals that I should buy? I like whole grain, lower sugar, cereals. I also love mixing cereals together, or making trail mix with them. Any suggestions??? THANKS!

Anything with a simple ingredients list, less than 10 grams of sugar per serving and ideally 3+ grams of protein and fiber. I tend to buy store brands because they are less expensive, so generic versions of: Cheerios, shredded wheat, bran flakes, chex. Uncle Sam is good and the Kashi ones that don’t have the isolated proteins or added fibers are good (like their shredded wheat is good).

I bet it feels EVEN more real now!! I always wanted to have tonnes (okay maybe 4 or 5) sons so they could surround me, in their college years, taking me out for dinner and being REALLY protective of ‘mom’. Maybe I watched too many American movies, but whatever. CONGRATULATIONS!!
