In A Flash

IMG_7782 (640x427)

Mornin’!

I slept until 7:30 – ’twas nice!! And as soon as I woke up I realized I’d already been working for 4 solid hours the day before. Crazy thoughts they were.

Stumbled out and did some computer work while I waited to get hungry. Some days I wake up starving; others I wait 30 minutes or so. I think definitely in relation to the size and time of the previous night’s dinner.

Put together a breakfast bowl at 8:30

IMG_7780 (640x427)

  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup dry oats
  • Mango
  • Blackberries
  • ~1/3 cup Quaker Oatmeal Squares
  • Kodiak Cakes Red Raspberry syrup
  • Bear Naked Peak Granola
  • 1 tsp flax
  • 1 tbsp Sunflower butter

IMG_7778 (427x640)

These guys made breakfast extra tasty:

Today is wide open, but also I have a long to-do list. I got my approval to take the RD exam yesterday!!!!! Now I just have to study, study, study. I also purchased HealthNut Em’s RD In A Flash cards, which are awesome! If you know the RD world, you know Jean Inman. But I don’t learn by staring at a thick binder. I have to DO things to learn. So the pre-made flashcards are a lifesaver. I’m getting about 50% right on the first try, so that’s good news. No idea when I will be ready, but  I’m going to study hard in the next few weeks.

SYTYCD tonight!!

Good luck studying for and taking, unless things have changed, an exam that has nothing to do with being an RD. I like the breakfast bowl concept. Have you (or maybe any other of your HLS bloggers) ever thought about doing a tutorial on photography with an SLR? Kind of how you’ve done Gmail tutorials. All of you bloggers are so incredibly talented with photography. I just got my SLR a few months ago and the manuals are impossible to learn from. If you ever get a few seconds of free time (I know, like that’s gonna happen during this crazy time for you!) you should really think about it!

If I could buy the cards off of you after you write ( i am writing in August or September I believe) or let me know the binder you are referring to, and of course if you are ever interested in any Canadian info:) Just email me and let me know!
