Here’s a recap of my cousin’s wedding in New Jersey!

Nick and Christy get married!
I spent last weekend with my parents and extended family celebrating my first cousin Nick’s wedding to Christy! The wedding was in Hamburg, New Jersey, at the Crystal Springs Resort. To make the 7 hour drive more fun, my parents came up to Cville the night before and we carpooled up to NJ (which meant I was a passenger princess in the backseat – thanks dad!) We went to bingo at Random Row the night before we left!

Ivy won all the prizes 🙁

We left early Thursday morning for our trek and were so happy to arrive with gorgeous weather!

Dad got us a two bedroom suite, which was fun and convenient. I had my own nook of a room.

Mom and I went for a little walk before we got dressed for the rehearsal dinner.

We met up with the Younger side of the family: my cousins Becky and Nick (the groom), their parents Ellen and Paul, and my cousin Crystal and her fiancee Dan.
The food was delish, and we talked and talked!

On Friday, the wedding day, mom and I booked spa appointments! I got a facial! The best part of this spa was they had an after service room where you had a nice warm foot soak along with complimentary champagne!

After that, I went to the Biosphere pool and spent 20 minutes in the sauna. I waded around the pool a bit before heading back to shower to have a late lunch.

Crystal Tavern Lunch
This niçoise salad hit the spot!

We took a little rest and then got dressed for the ceremony!

We were nervous from a few afternoon rainshowers, so were so glad the sun came back out!

Crystal and Dan’s wedding is next!

The ceremony was perfect! To see some AMAZING pics from their photographer, check out this Instagram post!

Cocktail hour was in the rotunda, and they had a seriously impressive spread of food. I beelined to the charcuterie station!

Cousin pics!
My cousins lived in New Jersey and New York when I was growing up, but I usually saw them twice a year in the summer and always at Christmas. Since our grandmother passed away, it’s been harder to see each other, so it was a great reunion! (We missed Laura, who couldn’t make it.)

Reception
The reception was dressed to the nines with stunning flowers and a really great Youngers sign in the middle! It was so fun to share a last name with the couple.

I caption this photo: That’s how they do it in New Joisey!

Their wedding has been a long time coming <3

And Nick is so very happy!

The food was all wonderful – I loved the delicata squash.

CAKE!!

Club Younger
They had one of the best DJs I’ve ever experienced, and the dance floor turned into a CLUB! I loved it!! I love it when DJs play just the best part of a song and then blend it into the best part of another (vs. playing the whole songs, which can get boring if you don’t love the song). This DJ killed it! The dance floor was crazy fun.

Yes, that’s Nick crowd surfing!

We said our goodnights at 11

Farewell Breakfast
I am so tired because we were up late and up early two days in a row! Mom, Dad, and I packed up the room and loaded car before heading to the farewell breakfast. It was so nice to be able to say goodbye to everyone the next day.

Best wishes to the Youngers!
