First Shift

IMG_8901 (600x450)

Matt called me when he got to the bakery this morning …help was needed!

For about 10 seconds I groaned at the thought of being jolted from bed…

And then I was racing downhill on my bike (awesome) and then I was greeted by my lovely friends (“employees” just doesn’t do them justice)

IMG_8905 (600x450)

And then I got to choose from this scrumptious breakfast buffet for my morning meal!

IMG_8904 (600x450)

Complete with unlimited coffee

 this !

IMG_8902 (450x600)

I got to say “GOOD MORNING!!” to everyone who walked in the door, watching them savor each crumb.

IMG_8903 (600x450)

For breakfast I sampled our selection and paired a few pieces of our sweets with a yogurt I brought from home. Tasty!!

IMG_8907 (450x600)

And drank too much coffee – wheeeee!

‘Twas a pretty fun morning indeed!

Looks like a tasty spread! I have a love-hate relationship with that over-caffinated “high.” 🙂

Enjoying my morning coffee…could do with one of your sweet treats to go with it! It’s donut making day at my household…my son has waited all week…time to get busy!

Sounds like a lovely morning! Your bakery always looks so friendly and inviting. Those goodies look delicious. Too bad I live in a small town in Missouri…I’m too far away to enjoy them. 🙁

I would agree, getting jolted from bed when you’re not ready wouldn’t be the way I would wanna start my morning… BUT like you said, some yummy bakery treats, coffee, and greeting people would most definitely make up for it!
