Creative Juices

Morning

Smile this !

The fun is over. Time to get back to work. I’ve got a lot of writing projects lined up and also things I’ve been meaning to do for KERF, so gotta get focused. I always say I’m going to go to a coffeeshop to work because it sounds so fun, but I never do! Kind of like going swimming, the thought of packing up my whole life to work elsewhere just doesn’t make sense. But it does help spark creative juices.

Breakfast this morning was to the point –

IMG_8588

Pumpkin yogurt (1 container greek yogurt + 1/2 a cup pumpkin, pinch ground cloves, sprinkle all spice, 1 tsp pumpkin butter) plus half a banana, 4 little figs, half a seckel pear, coconut and half an Alliebar!

      I have to agree!

I enjoy many aspects of your blog Kath and happy belated bday….

the opensky stuff/prices make me cringe when I know people can save so much more money by supporting their local
stores (rather than mailordering and having things shipped)and can find much ,much cheaper items that are still tasty and organic and support local businesses.
Of course if someone wants to spend that kind of money it is not really my business, but I can’t help but raise my eyebrows!

I always wanna go to a coffee shop but then I remember I have to ask someone to watch my stuff every time I have to pee. Plus no matter how many snacks I bring, I always get hungry! I think it’s all the delicious aromas swirling around.

I agree about packing up all of your stuff to go to a coffee shop – I have the same debate with myself about going to the library to study for school. Is it worth packing everything up and driving there versus just studying at home?

    Good luck with your writing!

Maybe the UVA library will let you rent a study carrel or cubicle? I rented one in grad school at Wake Forest, and it was LIFE CHANGING. I got so much done in there. Totally quiet, deliciously dark, and it locked, so I could safely leave all my stuff if I needed a snack or sanity walk. I think I paid $25 for two semesters.
