Chew With A View

2012-03-16 11.06.59

Bald Head is a gorgeous place for a morning power walk! If you could see this photo in motion, you’d see millions of little wiggling crabs:

2012-03-16 11.06.50

Mom and I walked for an hour then came in for showering and then lunch.

2012-03-16 11.07.49

Fabulous sandwich on Cville Crunch with avocado, sabra spicy hummus and red pepper!

Plus some flax crunchies mom found and an apple

Enjoyed with a view.

Headed to the beach!

    Aw man, that’s beautiful!

It’s taken a turn for the cold up here, and I’m envious of the tshirts and shining sun!

Now THAT’S at view! I don’t know why “mom found an apple” struck me as funny. Like she was walking along, found an apple, picked it up and polished it off and said “Kath would like this!”
    Ignore me…its Friday.

Now that’s a pretty snazzy view, although I have to say you have some competition. Right now I’m looking out from our house over a golf course with the Garden of the Gods and Pike’s Peak in the background! I’m sure going to miss Colorado Springs. Have fun with your family today!

Oh wow, I love that last photos with the boats! I’m longing for a beach holiday right now (and it’s coming soon – Australia at the end of April!) and can’t wait to get outside after work today. Have fun at the beach!

Wow, the scenery is breathtaking! It looks like it’s straight out of a romantic movie or something 🙂 It would be crazy to see all those wiggling crabs, I can’t even imagine! Your sandwich sounds really good; I always get in sandwich ruts and this sounds like a great new option to try.

How beautiful! My family went to the beach today, too, but we were lucky enough to snag a “front row seat” at Anne’s Beach down here in the Keys. Literally, we had three of those low-seated chairs right in the sand, with the water lapping at our feet! Paradise!
I packed sammies, too….Peppered turkey breast with lettuce and sprouts! Yum!
