Change In Elevation

Every time I get up and run first thing in the morning, when I’m rolling in that final half mile, I cannot BELIEVE that I did it! I don’t know why, but 5 miles before breakfast still seems impressive to me. ANY workout before breakfast is impressive!

I am full of energy today (excitement!?) and changed the bedding and put them in the washer all before our run. Then I ate a date. And we were off.

IMG_2525Blog

Hella, killer hills had me walking at times to catch my breath, but I survived. 45 minutes \\ 4.8 miles.

Overnight oats say holla!

In my homemade Honey Crunch PB jar:

  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup yogurt (all we had 🙁 )
  • 1/4 cup milk (all we had 🙁 )
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 whole honkin’ banana
  • Pinch salt
  • This morning: Nature’s Path Hemp Plus Granola!

We are moving from land to sky around noon. See you tonight, hopefully when I’m sweating in the sun!

I agree, working out before breakfast is amazing. I used to have boundless energy in the morning and then it shifted to the evening. Now it’s all I can do to make a pot of oats when I wake up.

love oats in a mason jar. OIAMJ! 🙂 I have similar emotions about a.m. workouts…first the “no, I wanna stay in my jammies and make oats” phase…then the…”ok, ok, FINE, I’m going to get this over with” phase, and then the “wow I feel amazing and energized and SO glad I did this” phase.. 😉
    safe travels,

For your wedding day, did you do a lot of diy materials? Or everything was purchased and done the normal way?
