Buttered Up

Want to know more about coconut butter!? I spent the morning making this information page, including a video!

All About Coconut Butter

image

Makes me hungry for some!!! image

[OH, and there’s an OpenSky deal going on right now where you get three sample squeeze packs if you buy a jar of coconut butter! Samples only while they last!]

Then I cleaned my house – behind the furniture! (Well…some of it!) WHERE does all this dust come from!?

Then we went for a noontime run.

IMG_2056edited

5 miles

IMG_2054edited

This is a reminder NOT to paint your nails in the dark while watching a movie. Sloppy joe!

IMG_2055edited

Lunch was leftovers! Matt says we have to eat everything in the fridge before Thursday.

IMG_2079edited

Minestrone!

IMG_2067edited

[I got the green dishtowel from Chef’s Catalog with a coupon from the Foodbuzz Festival!]

IMG_2062edited

With a side of toasted bread cubes – so much more fun to eat than a bite off a slice of toast.

IMG_2073edited IMG_2074edited IMG_2076edited IMG_2078edited

We have a few more errands to run and things to do. Matt’s working on researching equipment for the bakery and contractor contacts. Do you know how scary it is to buy a $20,000 oven!? We will have to do that sometime soon.

This afternoon/evening, we have a date!

Good luck with the oven purchase. Your bakery is going to be great -such a great combination of expertise between the 2 of you.

Love the coconut butter video! I picked up a jar at the store a few days ago but realized I didn’t know what I would do with it, and decided against it. I’m going back for it tonight!

Oh my God I thought you were going to put the bread in to the minestrone instead of pasta! Would that be good or would that get soggy?? It’s kind of sounding good! A hearty sprouted grain bread maybe? Well yum your soup looks great. I’m making your pom chickpea etc salad for company tonight! And raw lasagna, what was I thinking?!
