Blarg.

Blarg is how I feel today. Worn out and gross. We’re back at home and I’m cleaning the house and headed to the grocery store to get more produce. I did OK this Christmas, but I’m not quite able to remember how bad I feel when I eat poorly while I’m eating. (Did that make sense!?) I’ll have to make that my goal for next year – and I have 364 days to work on it!!

Breakfast

So I was busy this morning rushing to get on the road and I forgot to photograph my oatmeal!!! Sorry guys!! I had a bowl of oats with banana and walnut and a cup of coffee. Since it wasn’t anything I don’t have on a regular basis, I’m sure you can imagine what it looked like! No workout this morning because it was pouring and we had to get home. Not sure if I’ll get one today – I might just take the day off. Or I might do a short run this afternoon.

Lunch

We made it home right around noon and were getting pretty hungry for lunch. We packed turkey sandwiches and grabbed some fruit since our fridge is 100% bare.

Turkey, avocado, goat’s cheese and banana peppers on Nature’s Own 12-Grain Bread (which I really like!)

Plus a tangerine

Obviously this was a small lunch, but I was too busy unpacking to think of what else to have! 329 kcal.

Snack

An hour later I had some yogurt I brought from my parents’ house with Fiber One:

137 kcal.

Off to the grocery store!! Then to Target. Thank GOODNESS I don’t have to go to work tomorrow!

We’re thinking soup for dinner…..

Kath, don't feel too bad.Christmas comes only once a year and splurging for few days won't do you bad, because you eat really healthy on the other days and get plenty of exercise. You are doing great:)
