All Night Long

All night long there were no sugarplums in my head. Only these oats.

IMG_7116 (640x427)

Last night:

  • 1/4 cup oats (less because I knew I’d add a lot of granola)
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp chia
  • Sprinkle salt
  • Sprinkle vanilla

This AM:

  • 1/3 cup homemade Maple Walnut Granola
  • Handful blueberries
  • Half small banana
  • 1 tbsp TJs PB!!

IMG_7117 (640x427)

I think the peanut butter made it. I have missed regular old salty, crunchy PB!

Alarm clock:

Speaking of alarm clocks, Matt was up and ready for work at 6:30. I stayed up too late playing with my phone (found even MORE awesome features!!!). I’m totally sleep deprived 🙁 Might need a nap today!

Thinking about going to 9:15 vinyasa yoga. Can’t believe I live so close to the studio. Makes it so easy to decide!

See y’all later!

Definetly do the yoga, I vote!! If I lived near a yoga studio, I’d move house and just live AT the yoga studio 😀
    Have a good day!

I would LOVE to live that close to a studio!

Now that song is going to be stuck in my head all day…”All night long (all night…all night)…all night long” lol…at least it’s not repetitive. 🙂

I wish, I wish, I wish it would cool off this week so I could fire up my oven to make yer granola! Until then, I’m working on inventing a machine that fans me with palm fronds, feeds me iced coconut water and bakes granola.

Did you get the brand new iPhone?! If so, PB has it too. Did you know there is a REMOTE application where you can use your phone as a remote for any Apple product? We listened to music all afternoon and changed the songs by using the phone. It was incredible!

If it is not an iPhone, please ignore this comment 🙂 I am just getting back into life from my trip!

I am such a little punk. Just saw that DIRECTLY below this post you talked about your phone purchase! WHOOPS and sorry! PB had a tough time deciding between the two phones and went for the iPhone instead of the Google phone. I am curious to see how you like yours over time compared to how he likes his new Apple phone!

Your overnight oats look delicious! I cannot wait to try your simple but terrific sounding granola. 🙂 Btw have you ever tried Almond Dream brand almond milk? I had a coupon and picked it up yesterday with the intention of trying it out in cherry-vanilla overnight oats. The mix was quite tasty, but I felt that the milk was a little bit chalky. I have enjoyed Blue Diamond Almond Breeze in the past, and I feel it’s a better buy. Oh well. I hope you and Matt both have a great day! Take that nap if you need it. 😉

I haven’t tried that milk, but I”m not a big fan of almond milk. There’s no protein so it’s like water. Good for smoothies when you want to keep it lite, but not much else.

I actually told my sister the same thing about almond milk the other day. However, I do like that for a low amount of calories, and I can bulk up my smoothies, OIAJ, overnight oats, soups, etc. while also adding in some nutrients. To be honest I wanted to use the coupon for a purchase of unsweetened original Soy Dream, but there was none to be found. :/ Oh well. Thanks for your reply, Kath!
