Equipment

  • One giant pot
  • A large colander

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds shrimp
  • 6 ears of corn halved
  • 2 pounds red potatoes cut into quarters
  • 3 one pound packages of kielbasa chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 4 lemons sliced
  • 1 bag of Zatarain's Crab boil mix in a bag and/or 1/4 cup of Old Bay seasoning to taste

Instructions

  • Fill extra large pot with water, sliced lemons + Zatarains mix.  Bring to a boil. This might take a while so start it early!
  • When water is at a rolling boil, add potatoes and kielbasa. Cook for about 20 minutes, until potatoes are almost tender.
  • Add corn. Cook for 3 minutes. (If using green beans, add them here too).
  • Add shrimp. Cook until pink, 3-5 minutes. DO NOT overcook!
  • Drain - eat!
