Pantry Staple Clam Pasta

Keep these ingredients on hand for a night when you don't know what to have for dinner. Mix and match based on what you have in stock.
You can use any canned protein source - clams, sardines, tuna, frozen shrimp, beans.
And use any mix-ins you like - capers, olives, sundried tomatoes, herbs.
Top with any cheese you have on hand - feta, goat, Parmesan.
Add any veggies you like!

Ingredients

  • 1 can of chopped clams drained [or tuna or sardines]
  • ~1.5 cups tomato sauce Nello’s Sauce rocks!
  • 1.5 cups frozen chopped greens these were Whole Foods mixed greens
  • 2 tbsp sundried tomatoes
  • Pasta for two
  • Parm cheese for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to directions in salted water
  • Combine sauce, clams, tomatoes and greens in a medium sauce pan. Heat to a simmer.
  • Serve, garnishing with parm cheese
