Chocolate Cups

They look like peanut butter cups, but they are not filled with peanut butter! I slaved over titles for this killer easy chocolatey recipe, but still can’t come up with a name that sounds appealing for the concept of stuffing anything awesome into a chocolate cup.

Ingredients

  • 2 bags of high quality dark chocolate chips or any kind of chocolate pieces.
  • coconut butter
  • coconut garnish
  • butterscotch Chips
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon of bourbon
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • nut butter
  • sea salt

Instructions

  • Start with 2 bags of high quality dark chocolate chips (or any kind of chocolate pieces). We used Ghirardelli 60% cacao chocolate chips.
  • Melt, melt away in a double boiler (just a heat-proof bowl over simmering water)

Fill a mini muffin tin with paper liners and spoon about a teaspoon of chocolate into the bottom of each one. Wait just a minute or two for the chocolate to slightly cool, then start to add your fillings:

  • After filling the bottom with chocolate and putting in your filling, refrigerate these for about 5-10 minutes – until the chocolate is hard.
  • Then it’s time to add the top layer of chocolate. Fill until the stuffing is covered, and then top with your garnishes
  • Put them in the fridge again for 10-15 minutes until chocolate is hard.
  • If you have any leftover chocolate, either put it straight into your mouth all melty and soft, OR make a little bark!
  • When your chocolate is hard, remove from muffin cup and platter up!
