Apple Cheddar Omelets

This omelet is for all the sweet-savory lovers out there. Use a good sharp cheddar cheese!

Ingredients

  • 1 chopped apple
  • 4 eggs beat
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese cubed
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Water

Instructions

  • Heat skillet to medium heat.
  • Add apple along with a few tablespoons of water and cook for 5-8 minutes, until apple is tender.
  • Add salt to eggs along with a tablespoon of water. Stir.
  • Add enough butter to coat the bottom of your pan (even if it's nonstick!) and pour half of eggs in.
  • Pull edges of eggs toward the center for form a rim and allow to set for about 2-3 minutes.
  • When eggs are close to setting, add half of apples and cheese.
  • Fold over one third of omelet and then slide onto plate, folding other other side with the edge of the skillet.
  • Repeat for omelet #2.
