KERF Holiday Gift Guide

Raise your hand if you’re still shopping!!

this !

A week to go – there is still time!

I love reading holiday gift guides and get so many great ideas! Rather than doing several in different topics, I decided to do a mash-up of all of those on my list in one. Hold on to your Santa hats!

KERF Holiday Gift Guide

Immaeatthat Black Bean Brownie Mix

Kylie, the amazing entrepreneur, blogger and author of the Single Serving Cookie Cookbook, now has created a black bean brownie mix! Watch her cute video to see how easy they are to make! I can’t wait to try one!

Girls Day Out and Bama + Ry

Love to Jasmine at Bama + Ry, who makes gorgeous pieces of jewelry, and my local friend Amy of Girls Day Out, who makes my favorite designs in town. Both specialize in delicate, artistic jewelry that would be perfect for your sister, mom or BFF.

GDO and BamaRy

James

I have had such fun explaining Santa and Christmas to Mazen!! He is old enough to understand it all, and I can just see the gears turning in his little brain. He LOVES trains, but hasn’t shown much interest in James all that much. BUT, if you ask him what he wants Santa to bring him for Christmas, he says “JAMES!” Every time! It’s so darn cute. I have a feeling that Santa will be bringing this Talking James on Christmas morning (along with Toby + Victor from KK!) We already have Thomas and Percy and he loves that they make cute noises as he pushes them along.

Subscriptions

Who doesn’t love a subscription box!? There are so many options to choose from these days. I have given both Stitch Fix and Birchbox to friends this year!

Birchbox makeup + beauty // Koala Crate arts + crafts for little kids // Stitch Fix for fashion // Naturebox for snacks // Wine clubs (we belong to La Crema’s!) // Bark Box for dogs // Cook Smarts for meal plans

Subscription Ideas

{This dress is my latest Stitch Fix favorite that has been perfect for all of my holiday parties! If you can’t tell, it’s purple with detail on top!}

Count Me Healthy Journal Bracelet

This gorgeous bracelet by Chelsea Charles is more than an adornment. It’s a journal bracelet in 14k gold (also in rose gold and sterling silver) that you can use to track health goals like daily glasses of water, fruit and vegetable servings, weekly workouts, interval training sets, and more by moving the hand-etched beads.

And I’m giving one away!

Everything From Quirky

I love to go to the Quirky site just to see what new things have come out. My ideal home would be totally automated and filled with their smart products. Their products make a great gift for that person that has everything!

image

Art Supplies + Kinetic Sand

For that two year old you love…this stuff is SO COOL! Very soothing for adults and very neat for kiddos. Mazen is also getting sticker sets, activity books and paints. All under the “something you need” category : )

image

Gold Leaf Tray from Pottery Barn + Manzanita Wall Jewelry Branch from West Elm

I’m really into shiny gold this year, and also really into things that hold things and make things look neat! This tray is so cute. These too!

image

Similarly this gorgeous jewelry holder caught my eye when flipping through the West Elm catalog this week. I love the idea of making jewelry a part of the decor!

image

Fancy Olive Oils

As we say at the bakery, everyone loves the gift of food! Your chef friends will appreciate some high quality olive oil. I loved working with Olivier’s and Co this summer and am still using up some of the flavored oils. I plan to buy more in the new year (or the next big sale! They are actually offering a free bottle of olive oil with $75 purchase, I believe!)

This flavored oil set is my favorite for drizzling over salads:

image

Some other sets that would make great gifts:

Olive Oil Sampler Set // Lemon Oil & Fig Balsamic Mini-Melo (the lemon oil was my fav!) // Bread Dipping Set (with basil and garlic oils!)

Experiences

In our family we love to give gift certificates to restaurants, Feast, The Organic Butcher, The Spice Diva, JM Stock and other local specialty stores as well as tickets to upcoming shows and theater.

So many great gift ideas, thanks! I always have a hard time coming up with things I want for holidays/birthdays… but this year I noticed I have a lot of kitchen items on my Amazon wish list- and I think out of all of the items I’ve added a new knife set would be awesome!

Hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
