I definitely have a new favorite lunch! These No Bull burgers are delicious, easy to cook and are made of 100% real food.
I topped the newest flavor – Mushroom + Roasted Garlic – with pimento cheese after toasting it in a skillet for 8 minutes (4 mins per side). Disclosure that the sisters gave me this flavor as a sample at the market last week, but it was a smart move because I am now addicted and will continue to buy them!
Also digging the torn bread hunks on salads over a slice on the side
Just gotta keep my paws off of them until it’s time to eat!
Served over romaine with olive oil and Pumpkin Spice Balsamic that my sister got me at the Boston Olive Oil Co last year!
Served with pumpkin juice!
The winter wonderland is gone – the sun is so bright it’s blinding me at my desk!! Still freezing cold though…
I ventured to the gym this morning just to hang out with Better Homes & Gardens – my favorite pastime! Due to the rain, I had to drive there, and I did a pretty relaxing 45 minutes of ellipticaling and walking at a fast incline. The Stairmasters – the only machine to get me to really sweat – were taken. It was such a low key workout I recycled my shirt and sports bra back into my closet and didn’t even wash them. They weren’t sweaty in the slightest.
But that’s OK because I went for the magazine bonding. Sweating can happen tomorrow!

I can’t believe it isn’t snowing down there!! It’s coming down ferociously here.
It warmed up here too! In the 80′s!!!
The snow is insane! Cannot believe it is October 29 and there is snow falling amiss the leaves:)
I wish those No Bull burgers were sold all over! They look and sound delish.
I love workouts like that! They’re nice and relaxing, but you’re moving!
What is pumpkin juice???
I knew someone would ask this
Just sparkling water with a pumpkin in the background!
Whew. I am glad it was not what I thought it was
Sparkling water rules!
Wow, after 45 minutes of elliptically and no sweat? I’m jealous!! I am drenched within 10 minutes of exercise. It’s kinda gross, actually haha.
My friends will tell you it takes a lot to get me to sweat
That pimento cheese looks strangely compelling. Pimento is the red pepper they stuff in olives, right? So is the cheese just cheddar with red pepper then?
Pimiento cheese is a spread typically made with pimientos, sometimes mayo, and cheese. It’s a Southern specialty. I add a little pickled jalapeno to my version for a nice kick.
sometimes it’s nice to just zone out with light cardio and a good magazine. no need for EVERY workout to be super intense. have a great saturday, kath!
I wondered about that pumpkin juice too! It looked a bit too, how to put it right…transparent (!) for pumpkin juice
. The no-bull burgers look great and love the name
Mmm those no bull burgers DO look good!! And pumpkin balsamic sounds even better! Can you actually taste a hint of pumpkin in it?
Someone beat me to it- asking what pumpkin juice is.
I love that square-shaped bowl. Every time you post a photo of it, I think “I need to go get one of those…”
I am slowly making my way through the loaf of Dakota bread that I bought. I am very talented at making a good loaf of bread last for a long time (the secret is to have other loaves that you alternate between).
You keep teasing me with that Pimiento Cheese. I have major plans to get my paws on some it today when I hit up the grocery store. I hope it’s as good as it looks in your pictures. Those burgers look pretty darn tasty too. I’m always looking for a new vegetarian burger to try out. Where did you hear about these?
They are local to Cville and all the buzz
Glad you got in a nice magazine reading and mellow workout session. We all need days like that.
And I think I need to try one of those burgers. Sounds fabulous!
Our winter wonderland has just begun! It’s coming down like crazy.
I think I’d become addicted to those No Bull burgers too. They look delish.
Hi Kath!
I’ve been reading for many years now and love your blog! My boyfriend and I are planning on coming to Charlottesville for the New Years holiday and I was curious if you had any recommendations for a bed and breakfast. I see that Commonwealth is one of your favorite restaurants, but do you have any other suggestions for a fancy, romantic restaurant we could go to on New Years Eve?
Thanks so much!
Bridget
Yep!! Check the Cville page – there are two I recommend. South Street Inn and High Street
you’ve got me craving a burger with all the delicious bull burger pictures recently!
When I read “pumpkin juice” I immediately thought of Harry Potter!
Those burgers look so hearty!
It is BRRR-Y cold here!!! It was in the 30′s this morning.

I love the colors
Love the idea of the bread hunks in salad, I know you do it frequently, but it’s just sinking in, lol! And a relaxing workout is a workout nonetheless!
