LOVED this post! These are totally what summers are made of! That gelato looks amazing – glad you got to get it, I saw your tweet planning for it and was like “oooh that’s such a good idea!” :)

I completely agree! Especially the fan blowing – can’t stand having the A/C on. Even the birds chirping outside my window at 4am is a welcome sound!

I always think I am the only one who hates air conditioning. Summer is all about the summer smells and sounds and feel.

Are you still able to sleep with your windows open? I am envious if you are :) It has been AC ON for several weeks now at my house – I live in the midwest w/temp at 100+ today!

Truly are some of the finer things in like that you mentioned,Kath.

Bugs chirping. I feel you there.. except we have massive bull frogs out side of our place. i honestly never knew just how loud a bull frogs croak could be.. and still don’t understand why it is necessary for them to croak ALL night long.

Where do you get your T-shirts? They look comfortable! I am looking for some new ones, but am picky about the cotton. The cotton has to be thin and breathable.
