UFO, UF Smell

September 22, 2010

Wake me up, when September ends.

Cause it’s FLYING BY!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of flying, I think a UFO delivered this strange creature to our basement window. He’s been hanging out all morning!

Rawww!

Our basement also now features the sweet scent of male armpit. And it’s not my husband’s! I think that kitty did his business nearby…

Mmmm kitty pee. Breakfast anyone!?

The Overnight Oats Mix:

  • 1/3 cup raw oats
  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt (<– not greek so it was liquidier today)
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Cinnamon
  • Pinch kosher salt
  • Half banana

This AM:

Love the table where your oatmeal is, where did you get it? Also, I thought of your blog this morning because the local newspaper featured a recipe on how to make kale chips and I had never heard of them before!

Overnight oats…an absolute favorite. I find myself eating it often lately because I know as the weather gets colder I won’t want it as much.

Apple Ginger crumbles sound so good :)

What a cute kitty! Too bad about the armpit smell though!

That cat is making me shiver! I’m allergic to them :( so I’ve never been a cat person I guess. The smelly pee didn’t help haha.

Haha that “coffee table” picture is AWESOME!

We are getting a heat wave at the end of this week–I think Friday might be my last overnight oats for a while! I am not sure I can do them in the chilly mornings otherwise!

Stripey refused to leave, so we finally fed her, and then found a home for her :)

this is actually a neat set of photos because it looks like its snap shots of what the kitty would see. kind of like cat-cam or a cats perspective, if that makes sense. Really DELICIOUS either way <3 … well the breakfast that it, not the cat HAHA

XOXO <3

Hey Kath!
For some reason when I bring up your homepage on my BlackBerry it’s stuck on [A] Great Harvest post….yet when I go individually from post to post I’m given the link and am able to view your most recent posts that way. Any idea why my homepage is stuck on that post and how I can fix it?

Thanks!
Shayla

I love that song…it was my theme song too last September when the whole month was a headache.

We have stray cat too that hang out at our house. She’s cute and I’m going to start feeding her.

Love the colors on this post, especially the rug on the background. I love details!
