Ladies, I am so inspired by the fantastic toppings that you have all brilliantly suggested, that I am thinking about opening up an oatmeal breakfast kiosk in Manhattan! And to think that when I was a kid I would sneak the bowl of maypo under the table for the dog to eat. Poor old Fifi would never have gotten any of these delicious oatmeal culinary delights.

Hey, I've been following your blog for a while now. It's given me some great ideas for new dishes to try out, but my absolute favorite has been the oatmeal! It's so easy to make and experiment with and tastes delicious.

MQ, I was putting on nut butter long before I started reading Kath's blog... I think the popularity of the combination is when it get all ooey gooey in the warm oatmeal. I don't know if anyone "came up" with it. I just like experimenting and figured if one can make peanut butter oatmeal cookies, why not put PB on top of oatmeal? Hope that answers your question. ;)

Kath, have a wonderful time with C 'n C! When you open up your B&B, I'll be one of the first guests to visit! :)
