Look at my fins!
We had lots of fun playing by the pool this afternoon. It was so warm!!
Finally got into our room, showered up. Boy did it feel nice to put on mascara again!
I ate an orange slice Karen had packed for nourishment.
We dressed ourselves up for the Great Harvest welcome gala – a taco feast under the stars!
I had two glasses of white wine (a Chard and a Pinot Grigio) throughout the night. It would have been so easy to drink 5. Glad I stuck to 2!
There were stations set up for make-your-own tacos
As well as made-to-order quesadillas.
And a big salad bar
I had a chicken taco with all the fixins and a quesadilla plus a side of salad
For dessert – churros! I split one with Karen.
Mucho aqua for dessert!
The conference starts bright and early tomorrow morning with breakfast at 6:45. I’m here blogging and getting ready for 8 hours – and Matt is out at some bar! That crazy guy.

My oh my, how much do I need a pool right now!? It snowed in bean town this weekend, just after the rain washed most of it away. What a bummer! I’m living vicariously through you, so please have a strawberry margarita.

super cute dress! looks lovely and nice for y’all to get a break from the cold! also, that shell covered beach isn’t typical of ALL of the Gulf. We go to Destin, FL often and it’s usually perfect white sandy beaches. But ouch!

I guess I’m a “lurker” but I’ve been reading your blog for a while (more than a year) and really don’t post comments. I just wanted to say that Karen looks radiant.
I’m so glad to see that Karen is with you in FL and it seems like she’s having a good time and still has a good appetite. It makes my heart ache a little because my lovely Aunt just passed away last year from breast cancer and I saw the pain she went through. I’m so glad to see that Karen is doing well and that she has you both by her side =)
