Jenna and I came back and crashed last night – after organizing our swag that it! We collected some really cool stuff but I have to figure out how to get it all home.
After 7 hours of rest, we used the code word "blog" to indicate that we were awake and ready for some healthy breakfast. Jenna made me one of her Amazing Grass smoothies, which I eat KERFishly in a bowl
- 1 scoop of chocolate Amazing Meal
- 1 frozen banana
- Big handful spinach
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 cup 1% milk
Topped with some Frog Hollow Farm granola and posed on the famous Healdsburg floor

Senses Are Awake!
Remember when I participated in the Quaker Awaken Your Senses challenge? I didn’t win
But these three are in the semi-finals: Catherine Mc Cord of Weelicious, Jen Yu of Use Real Butter and Laura of Laura’s Best Recipes! You can help support 3 worthy food charities by casting your vote for your favorite Oatmeal Creation at www.youtube.com/quakertalk. At the end of the week the blogger with the most votes wins, and they will be able to award $10,000 to their favorite food.

Have a great day in Healdsburg with Jenna and in San Fran. I’ve loved seeing all your pictures this weekend – SF is one of my favorite places and seeing all the sights again is great!
Have fun in Healdsburg! It looks so beautiful/different from the rest of Cali from all of Jenna’s pics!
Have a fun last day!!!
Have a fun day with Jenna/in San Fran!
Can’t wait to see the dinner you have planned tonight!
Looks so fun! It’s so cool how you and Jenna have been able to become friends through your blogs
Have a fun day and a safe trip back home
SIAB yummy!
Have a great day Kath and a safe trip!
enjoy your fun day! i’m excited for you that you got lots of fun freebies! your breakfast looks very creative.
Loved that Gather article. It was very honest and beautifully written. “Foodover”–I’ll have to remember that term. I totally know what you mean! Here’s to a more even squiggly line
I love your ups and downs article, I find that the biggest thing I struggle with is consistency! Also jealous of that green smoothie!
Haha I would want to have my Amazing Grass in a bowl w granola, too! Have fun in San Fran today!
Enough about you and your fabulous trip and your much-deserved award ; ). How is your husband’s poor face? (p.s. congratulations. I’m really happy for you.)
I’m SO excited!
It’s so fun that you get to reunite and see Jenna’s new place. I definitely need to make it down there to go wine tasting, it seems like an awesome experience.
Also – love your Gather posts, they are great and I read every one!
I absolutely love the picture of your breakfast on Jenna’s famous wooden floor! The trip to Healdsburg looked like so much fun– we go to Napa & Sonoma every February, but it is even more gorgeous this time of year!
love the floor pictures!
Love the gather post. “No one is making me indulge at those events, so why can’t I just grow up and eat moderately and consistent with my weekday habits? ” This spoke to me. Little kids eat candy, ice cream and cookies till they’re sick, not adults. I’m slowly coming to the realization that I need to be in control of my actions when it comes to food. I need to be more consistant. Thanksgiving for me usually means I can eat whatever I want (especially desserts) because it’s the holiday and I can get back on track Friday. But this year I’ve already made the decision to treat it like any other dinner, not a big feast where I need to eat everything.
CONGRATS Kath! Just read the full re-cap of the weekend and it looks soooo amazing. Your win was very well-deserved!!
Enjoy your last day! San Fran is the best!
A SIAB must be so good in that weather!
Enjoy your lat day. Sounds like an amazing event to have attended!
have a wonderful time!
Hi! Just FedEx your stuff home. I usually take a slip from the office when I go to conferences. I take one for each service we use, and then choose the best way. If nothing else, Mailboxes Etc. (or whoever they are now) will set you up. Have a good trip back.
Have fun in Healdsburg! I can’t wait to see the pictures – everywhere you’ve been looks so picturesque! PS – Tell Jenna that GM looks AMAZING!
I always eat my SAIB KERFishly now. You are so Rachael Ray making up acronyms and adjectives for those acronyms. This comment is LTTTish (Lamer Than a Turkey on Thanksgiving).
I had a smoothie in a bowl when my mom was here and she thought it was crazy until she tried. Gotta love that my mom eats her smoothies KERF style!
glad you got to spend time with jenna!
jenna
I love the floor a a background to the pictures. Nice picture contrast.
Have a fantastic day! ENJOY IT!
Your photos from this weekend make me want to travel asap! Such beautiful pics – sounds like you’ve been having a magical time!
Beautiful pictures. The “word” “kerfishly” has to go though.
You ladies and your Amazing Grass… Love it!
Ahh I’m jealous that you get to play in San Fran today! I’m stuck in the office all day looking out on the bay. Enjoy the city!
wow……this weekend sounded/looked crazy! I’m glad you all had such an awesome time! love your green SIAB:) very appropriate when staying with Jenna.
That’s so wonderful you’ve made such good friends through blogging! Can you mail any of your stuff home?
I love that you eat your smoothies out of a bowl.
hahaha this post made me laugh. that wood floor gets around…
The Frog Hollow Farm Granola looks like a perfect addition! Yum!
It was great meeting you on Saturday!

Enjoy! Are you ever going home
I wouldn’t either though! How is the patient BTW no updates lately.
Love the green smoothie!
Jenn
Bowls! Practically anything that can be eaten from a bowl tastes good. And it’s so much more fun that way.
looks like green oats! lol.. i would fear green liquid stuff though!
My aunt finds it difficult to down some green looking spirulina every time!
Congrats on Best Blog Kath!! That’s amazing and very much deserved
