Slept in today. Feeling a bit stiff :( I hate that about sleeping too much! We’ve got a gray day today, but my sunshine is back in town and we’re going to a press event for lunch!

See ya (perhaps on Twitter?!)

I am such a texture gal. I need texture in all of my meals!

Texture is a must in any good oatmeal bowl!

Nothing like the texture of fresh, homemade oatmeal AND granola to start a morning. :)

Honestly, you post 9 pictures of the same bowl of oatmeal? That’s a bit overkill. Your pictures are nice but, come on, pick one or maybe two — but nine is rediculous.. oatmeal isnt that interesting no matter which angle you shoot it from.

Somebody sounds oat-deprived :)

11 Kori July 13, 2010 at 9:11 am

If you choose to be a reader of KERF, then you need to only post positive comments because there is absolutely NOTHING negative that can be said about Kath! I do not understand individuals who choose to read articles, etc. that do not please them and then take the time to beat others down. If you have not realized, Kath is a lover of oatmeal, photography, and creativity. If you do not appreciate these things, then perhaps this isn’t the blog for you. Sheesh… I LOVE the pictures, Kath, and I hope you’ve been off to a wonderful Tuesday!

12 Kath July 13, 2010 at 9:23 am

Well you don’t have to only say positive things, but you can’t be mean, snide, rude or inappropriate.

Reply

13 Samantha Angela @ Bikini Birthday July 13, 2010 at 9:23 am

I agree that the comment was unnecessary. True, there are more pictures of the oatmeal than usual but maybe you can suggest more kindly (and possibly in a private e-mail) that you’d rather see less pictures.

14 Stacey @ Tipping the (Kitchen!) Scales July 13, 2010 at 9:42 am

Don’t worry Kath, I love the pics too! Nothin’ like a bit of oatmeal love in the morning!

15 Rosey Rebecca July 13, 2010 at 10:12 am

I love all of the pictures! I really don’t see why people insist on leaving negative comments. If you don’t like someone’s blog or post- don’t read it. No need to be rude.

Holy Cow Kori, calm down stalker.

Reply

17 Kori July 13, 2010 at 10:40 am

And I’m a stalker how? This blog is meant to be followed, and I do just that. Kath posts, I read, and therefore, I know some things about her based on what SHE writes. Good grief, a little bit harsh yourself aren’t you, Miss Carrie? Get a grip on yourself.

Carrie’s at it again! Oh she’s amusing I have to say. Have you noticed other comments of hers? I guess I’m one of the stalkers that would notice such a thing – that all of her comments are rude.

Oh my, that has to be one of the amazingest (it deserves a made-up word) bowls of oats I’ve ever seen–the texture, the chewiness, the creaminess, the peanut butter! Ah, my mouth is watering! Perhaps because it’s in a mug it’s all the better… everything is better in a cute mug! ;)

There is nothing I am pickier about than my oatmeal texture. I use WAY less liquid than most people. It has to be THICK, and CHEWY like a cookie. Not mush.
