Good morning!!
I only slept until 7, but it was the lovely lounging on the couch that turned this day into a Sunday. I watched Property Virgins, My First Place and Divine Design – love houses!!!
And pancakes and tea made it all the more fun
I made the Great Harvest Pancake mix with bananas, Krissy’s Pecan Butter (which was SUPER drippy!!), coconut and chia seeds.
Irish Breakfast Tea on the side. I’m really enjoying my teas lately now that I’ve stocked up on the black teas I love
Plans today include a lot of nothing and perhaps a little HP7!!

My boyfriend Will is Peruvian and he said they have tea time every day in Peru! We need to instate this in America PRONTO! I want some tea all day, err day
Okay this post just completely sold me on those mugs – I’m already counting down the days until they come to OpenSky! (Just don’t tell my boyfriend because we don’t really have room for anymore dishware, haha).
I’m doing the same thing on this lazy Sunday and I love it (it’s pouring rain here so I feel like I have an excuse to do nothing but laundry, baking and sitting around
)
Enjoy!
Also – hopefully that’s the same mug as the blue one. I think it is? Ha
YUM! Sounds like a great start to a Sunday!!
I love seeing your breakfasts before I eat mine – it makes me try a littl harder. LOL!
I love your tea towels. I am a sucker for vintage aprons & kitchen tea towels. Ebay has great stuff & so do you.
Pecan butter – something I have yet to try but seems to be very hard to come by at the market.
Heckyes! love a good tea time…and Harry Potter 7… enjoy the day!
love your tea pot runner! I collect tea sets– so cute and dainty!
Pecan butter is my favorite! I’ve made a chocolate kind before… it tastes like butterscotch
You got a new header!! (this may be old news…) I really like it!
Ok, now I have to get Great Harvest pancake mix…
I love watching shows on Sunday morning too : )
Have a great day off!
Enjoy your day! Lazy Sundays are the best
Mmm, this post makes me want to get back into tea time! And the pancakes look fabulous!
Those pancakes look divine! Enjoy HP7, it’s amazing!
Enjoy your day off – and HP if you see it! It is something I never got into.. but it must be pretty amazing since everyone else loves it!
Pancakes are so yummy! I can’t decide whether or not I like them or French toast better but both are awesome ways to start a day
Divine Design is one of my favorite home-design shows. Candice has such a fun attitude. Love her!
Black tea is my fave! Love the flavor!
We just plan to do nothing sometimes.
this post is love.
I love me some tea!
Yum! Those pancakes look great!
Enjoy your Sunday!
Oh YUM! What a great tasty and relaxing start to the day! I hope you have a great one Kath!
Pancakes and Harry Potter? Sounds like a pretty good Sunday to me!
Everybody has been having pancakes lately!! Is there something in the air??
I really need to get some pancake mix…soon.
i just got the drippiest pb of all time from a place called spread:

LOVE the drizzle!!!
The pancakes look good! I wonder what chia seeds would be like in the batter? I’ll have to find out sometime.
Candice Olsen is my hero. I LOVE that show! Her rooms are always so gorgeous. Enjoy your Sunday!
Yay! I had pancakes too this morning. My dad cooked up our family’s best specialty pancakes–Orange-Yogurt pancakes. We’ve been making them for years, but every time I have them, I fall in love all over again. They taste just like creamy orange sponge cake
I made pecan butter before, and it turned out drippy but delicious as well!
Have a great day, Kath
After your post last week on Adagio tea, I visited the site and went a little crazy… an order of 11 types of tea later, I am OBSESSED. Thanks for the tip, they are amazing!!!
Oh how fun! They are great aren’t they!
Your breakfast pics make me love breakfast a little more each day! Have a great Sunday
Loving that pretty green plate. And of course, those pancakes look delish. So yummy.
I can tell you like design, because your mug and plate match your blog colors! So coordinated
I love Irish breakfast tea. The best was when I went to Ireland with my college and the owners of the hostels we stayed in would make us authentic irish tea. So rich and milky!
Every time I see you have bananas in your breakfast (everyday!) I think how you would be having serious banana withdrawals if you were in Australia! Since huge storms, floods and a cyclone hit our banana growing regions at the start of the year we have had a banana shortage! Bananas are about $10-14 per kilo. One banana could cost you $2-3. Even though I’m not a huge banana fan I do miss them and even more so when I see your breakfasts each day!
Pecans are one of the only nuts I haven’t made nut butter with! off to check out the recipe
Question about black tea. You’ve mentioned that caffeinated coffee is addictive to your system and affects your sleep. Does black tea affect you the same way? I had to cut out caffeine in coffee and tea!
it’s much more mild for me… although I still feel a little of the caffeine
I love your vintage tea towel! Or is it an embroidered tablecloth? It reminds me of an apron I have of my Grandmothers’s that I love.
