Sun Beam Of Sunshine

February 17, 2011

My GOSH I am beaming with happiness today!! It’s 70 degrees outside, sunny, and as warm as a cozy blanket.

You know how when you’re sick you forget what it’s like to feel well? After all this winter I’ve forgotten how amazing comfortable weather is. Biking in it was a [warm] BREEZE compared to my recent biking trips to the gym.

I also wrapped up 3 projects, including a guest post for my sister and reading a draft of my mom’s new young adult book about a pie blogger and her niece!

When I left the gym today after BodyPump ( = great workout!) I found the most HILARIOUS note that Matt had obviously left when he left his meeting this morning.

That would be Bocker bear making a stinky face at me on Great Harvest paper! I literally laughed out loud!

Lunch today was super delicious – and I was super starving after my workout!

A whole wheat yeasty English muffin with an egg and berry jam

IMG_1754BlogIMG_1758Blog

And leftover Green + Bean Soup.

IMG_1748Blog

Which I topped with some crab + Old Bay flavored peanuts that Matt A’s parents gave us for Christmas!

Now I’m sipping seltzer while I blog, clean up my inbox, answer> comments, get my hair dry and wait for Faith to arrive at 2:30 for our outing!

I’ll be back late tonight – but there’s a Home Neat Home coming up in the meantime!!

Now I want an English muffin (gluten-free of course). Will have to make a trip to my favorite store this week and buy a pack.

On my blog today I was really wondering about differences between Wordpress and Blogger.
If you could share any thoughts on it, I would really really appreciate it!!

It’s funny how you and I have opposite weather. We had our warm CA spring weather the past two weeks and now it’s raining buckets, cold, and windy. Enjoy the warmth! :-)

I love that you put jam on your egg sandwich. I never would think of such combos, so THANKS for the inspiration. :D

(p.s. Please send some of your warm weather up here to New England. We’d greatly appreciate it. ;) )

Did you make the soup? Also that english muffin looks so good – what do you mean by “yeasty” though?

(P.S Is there any way to subscribe to get the comments or notified if you do respond – I can do this on some blogs but don’t see it here). Thanks.
