There's no bill for the free ones - it's just procedure to check out.

JENNA ,
It's just a different style of vanilla. I love it.

caitlin (see bride run),
Welcome home!! I loved going with you on your honeymoon :)

Hellena ,
Cool! I left a comment!

Krista + Katie ,
Welcome!

haya (living and learning) + anna,
I did not bike because it was dark, but I would have if the sun had been up!

Elle ,
Sorry!!!! I loved the vanilla bean paste too, but we used all of ours so I'm taking a break :(

kwaze ,
Always, always dry measurements. I'd say "1/2 cup cooked XXX" of it was cooked.

Fancy ,
Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina!

daphna ,
Mine have partially hydrogenated too :( I didn't realize it until after I bought them - doh! But for something that I eat a tsp at a time, I'm not too worried. Trans-fats are mostly dangerous when served by the slice  (And even then if you eat around them 99% of the time, they probably don't do a think to your body, but still good to avoid most of the time).

Looks great! Where you get your butterscotch chips? My local grocery store had them, but the second or third ingredient was partially-hydrogenated oil.

This is so strange! It is about 40* here in Wyoming, where we normally get the cold you guys are talking about! I'd like to enjoy the nice weather, but I'm worried about what the weather shifts mean for our environment ... :-S
