You are so brave for stopping to take a picture of a snake. I would have been running as fast as possible in the other direction! : )

Re. Egg Poaching,
It's just as simple as I said in the post. Find a small ramekin and spray it with cooking spray. Plop in egg. Nuke on power level 5 for about 70 seconds (this will vary depending on your microwave, so watch it and figure out what works for you). I take mine out when there's still a little white liquid in the middle because it will continue to cook and i like them slightly running.

Karly ,
There aren't any secrets or tricks - just do it! Listen to your body and eat mindfully. You might want to read Intuitive Eating.

Your lunch looks sort of like a smiley face haha.. now I want some jam-covered toast!

I totally agree with your squiggle answer about knowing your weight best by how your clothes fit, over what a scale says. Hope you're having a good day!

I love seedy jam too -- but, it's because I like having the seeds stuck in my teeth. Yeah, pretty weird, I know...
Well, it tastes better than other jams, too. :)

Hi Kath!

CONGRATULATIONS!

I am interested in trying out your squiggly line approach. For years, I have been sticking to a set number of calories. And, I find that I won't eat something b/c I don't want to go over that number or I will eat something so that I hit the number. I find that my approach is leaving me totally out of tune with my body. I eat to meet this requirement I have set rather than for health, nutrition, to meet my bodies needs, and for enjoyment. Do you have any tips for getting started on the squiggly line approach. Perhaps this would be a good challenge for me to start.

You are your nature... I can't believe all the creatures you've had around your house lately!

AWESOME lunch Kath! Sounds just about perfect to me! :)

Seems like you are definitely approaching the "Squiggly Line" with the right frame of mind. Just keeping a closer eye on what we eat can make all the difference!
