Matt and I drove to Hillsborough in silence – because we were both listening to podcasts! He with his brewcasts and me with a nutrition cast I found on my iPhone (in the health section). It was quite informative about refined foods just in time for the cookie fest we arrived to!
We packed sandwiches and pineapples for the ride with the remaining fridge ingredients –
Pickles are vegetables right!
TJ’s creamy hummus, pickles, Beemster cheese and mustard.
We each had a bag of pineapple but ended up splitting a bag
We arrived to lots of tins of goodies!!
And half a Christmas tree
Larbs was working on her triceps
The boys peeled shrimp

Ahh, I could never drive with ear buds in — can’t hear sirens/honks! Sandwiches look delish. And the boys look so cute hard at work together. Have a great celebration.
I’m pretty sure its illegal to drive with headphones, so I hope he was listening to his through the regular speakers….

Per the previous comment about headphones being illegal while driving – it is illegal to drive with both headphones on, but it is legal to drive with the headphone in only one ear. I checked the statutes in my state before I started doing it. I assume it’s the same in other states.
It was Dishin’ Nutrition and the first one I’ve ever encountered. It was very informative!
Cool…I’d love to check it out. I also like The Nutrition Diva (I believe she’s a nutritionist) and Meal Makeover Moms (who are RDs…great show even though I’m not a mom).
