Baby happy in nature’s carrier

Ice cream for a snack (the only food in the house the baby could imagine eating…stupid appetite)

Husband in the yard, building something

Neighbor’s dog looking for something to play with

Wife in the kitchen, cooking something

Ambient music playing

Ravioli, green beans, frozen peas, all cooked in one pot of simmering water. Topped with salt, pepper, smoked gouda cheese hunks and dabs of butter.

Lemon water sipping

From my back porch looking in!

…. and wife looking content with baby in natural carrier, presentation finished, and crib purchased! :) Sounds like you had a great day Kath. Hope dinner was delightful! :)

2 KathEats March 22, 2012 at 7:10 pm

3 Julie H. of Spinach and Sprinkles March 22, 2012 at 7:08 pm

What a wonderful day! :)
…when the baby craves something, it’s just best to oblige. How sweet its going to be!

4 KathEats March 22, 2012 at 7:10 pm

I say it was less of a craving and more of an aversion to every other snack I could think of :)

5 Katie @ Peace Love & Oats March 22, 2012 at 7:10 pm

looks like you all are really getting the chance to use that porch and enjoy the beautiful weather! Have a great evening!

10 jojo March 22, 2012 at 7:14 pm

so you get sweet cravings like I did when I was pregnant:)
I had major chocolate cravings but tried to control the intake since the caffeine and the sugar obviously..

11 KathEats March 22, 2012 at 7:16 pm

I’m actually not interested in chocolate, which is weird…

12 Stephanie @ Legally Blinde March 22, 2012 at 7:17 pm

21 Lauren @ Oatmeal after Spinning March 22, 2012 at 8:13 pm

Ahhh… this weather! When we were eating outside tonight, I told my husband that we need to savor these days before the mosquitoes start coming out and ruining our good time!
LOVE me some Ray Lamontagne! (and ice cream…)

22 Laura (Blogging Over Thyme) March 22, 2012 at 8:15 pm

That dinner looks so fresh and yummy. I love green beans. Also, Ray LaMontagne is absolutely dreamy…his voice is so raspy and thick. I love his music so much and agree that it is perfect cookin’ music.
