How happy was I to find another stunning breakfast buffet this morning!
I had another wonderful Chobani parfait – this time with some peanut butter thrown in!
Tried a quinoa + cashew butter muesli
Ate so much delicious fruit I couldn’t handle it emotionally – and a little croissant
Sipped tangerine juice with honey foam!
Pure delicious.
Breakfast flowed right into the morning keynote, which was by far the best conference keynote I have ever attended. Jayden and Elise sat on a panel alongside Masterbuilt and Bob’s Red Mill to discuss blogger + brand relations. There was tons of great information and conversation.
I also attended a photography session by Taylor, who is a professional photographer. He had great tips for shooting outside. At the end of the session Taylor and I realized we knew each other from a brief encounter in Charlotte where he lives! He has my brain gears cranking for an upgrade to my camera…
Our session continued live to the market before we split for lunch
Lunch was on our own today, and I joined Roni, Katie and Heather.
We found ourselves in an ally
And stumbled upon The Pink Door!! I knew from you guys this was a door to go inside : )
We ended up sharing a bunch of dishes, and thanks to Roni for lunch!!
Crusty, chewy delicious bread
Calamari
Antipasta
Crostini (with minty pea spread and little shrimp with lemon and cheese)
Roasted garlic and gorgonzola spread
And the grand finale – pizza.
I had tastes of everything and it was all delicious.
After our walk home, I opened up this box of Fran’s Chocolates that Amanda gave me to yesterday as a welcome to Seattle gift.
Smoked Salt Caramel – they were delicious! Thanks Amanda!
I am about to crash, and I think I need a power nap before I continue on. I think this is a time in my life where I just have to miss out on a little fun to recharge a bit. Party in 3 hours!

What a fun lunch! I adore Roni!
WOW I would go to that conference just for the food, let alone the awesome sounding presentations! Sounds like an amazing event!!!!
Honey foam, minty pea spread, and just all the more unusual fare that you don’t typically see at conferences..how fun to try it all!
Adorable pink door!
And I would have loved to sit in on Taylor’s workshop!
Now that’s a breakfast! So fun!
Love Fran’s chocolates!! Sorry you had to experience the PNW during such a cold an dreary time.
Now that’s a good looking breakfast plate! I am jealous…
BlogHer Food sounds so much better than last year! I spoke on the food allergy panel last year here in Atlanta and sadly, I don’t think Atlanta was represented in the food or atmosphere. I’m glad you’re having a great time!
That looks like one of the best breakfasts I have ever seen (it’s tied with yesterday’s spread).
Please do tell us about the quinoa/cashew butter dish… was it like oatmeal? I am intrigued!
yeah…like overnight oats
I am from Seattle and The Pink Door is one of the best restaurants! Too bad you couldn’t sit outside on the patio…you can never count on sunny Seattle. I’ve heard tomorrow is supposed to be nice though! Hopefully you get to enjoy it then :]
We were on the patio!!
Oh good! Lucky you!!
I love Pink Door!! One of my favorites.
oooo that lunch looks delicious! As do the chocolates. Looooove chocolates!
YUM!!! That is one amazing day of eating REAL FOOD!!! Everything looks so good!
Everything looks sooo good! Can’t wait to see the new photo tricks you picked up, too
All of your eats look delicious!! my mouth is watering for all of that fruit. it looks so fresh!
Rest up, you deserve it!
Wow, what an awesome-looking meal. I can even tell that the bread was good just from the photos. Good bread = sign of a good restaurant (at least, in my experience)!
I feel stupid asking, but what are those golden raspberry-like berries on your breakfast plate??? Looks like you’re having a great time
And that bread looks amazing!
I think golden raspberries!
The smoked salt caramels look so good. I’ve never heard of anything like that before so I’d be curious to try them. Everything that your eating looks so fresh and delicious!
Looks like an awesome day on the west side! I’m thinking about a new camera too. Haven’t had one in a while.
All that food looks fabulous! I about died when I read smoked salt caramels…I love anything with chocolate salt and caramel! My husband is going to Seattle in the morning so I may have to have him pick some of those up for me!
Which model of Canon would you like to upgrade to?
Possibly the 5D…possibly just a T-something. I would really like to have video capabilities and I’m also very interested in a full frame camera
noooo, get a Nikon! I’m lusting after a Nikon 1 at the moment. Very compact and the quality looks A+.
I’m Canon loyal!
I have really been enjoying your posts lately. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Your baby site is just fabulous too.
Thank you!
Those chocolates sound to die for…love any kind of salted dessert!
Hi, I just found your blog because I was searching for something by Averie (averiecooks) and came across a blog site, who seem to be really uptight about you, for no reason at all. WHAT the hell is their problem? So, I thought I’d get on here and say your blog is awesome and I hope those cyber-bullies don’t get to you. Every one of them needs a reality check. X
oh that breakfast looks incredible! And your photos of food in this post and even more stunning than usual!
Again, an incredible Breakfast! I could eat that every day!
Gotta love anything salty caramel (sweet + savory) — just like Jeni’s Salty Caramel icecream

So glad you are having a great trip!
I’ll pay you for your old camera!
Ill probably keep it for more rough events. Unless I never use it then you can
Really enjoying the snippets of Seattle you are showing. Those chocolates look amazing!
That lunch looks incredible! The bread, the calamari, the pizza, the antipasto…wow!
What type of camera are you thinking about upgrading to? The antipasta looks amazing!!!
Canon 5D….maybe
Pink Door! That’s cool… I LOVE the antipasto plate… looks amazing! I hope it tasted as good as it looked!
