Happy Mid-Morning!
I’m really excited to share with you guys a video project I’ve been working on with Quaker and Goodbite to raise up to $25,000 for Share Our Strength, a charity dedicated to ending childhood hunger. This project was perfect for me since I love all kinds of creative oatmeal toppings!
Watch below!
I encourage all of you to create your own oatmeal topping combinations by going to WWW.QUAKEROATS.COM/CREATEYOURDAY and assembling an oatmeal creation that will best help you tackle the day that lies ahead
For every bowl of oatmeal created on this site, GoodBite.com and Quaker will donate $1 to Share Our Strength, up to $25,000. This goal is no small feat, but if you all create one oatmeal bowl, that much more money will go to feeding hungry children.
Remember there’s strength in numbers!!

Hey Kath!
I just discovered your blog a few days ago and it’s just great!! I also love my daily oatmeal and had to laugh when reading and looking at your tribute to oatmeal… I’ve never been that inventive! Well, it’s time to start now!
I already have almond butter and use it loads but I think I might stock up on a few other nut butters for a few more great toppings and more variety!
Have you already tried to include coconut flour (helps digestion and gives it a lovely flavour) or wheat germ (add this at the end as you shouldn’t heat up what germ) ??
chocolaty hugs over to America from Germany and keep those great pictures coming!
Welcome!! I’ve tried wheat germ (a little dry, in my opinion) but I haven’t tried coconut flour!
What a great idea! Thanks.
Great video! I’ve seen the Quaker create your day on some other blogs too, I will definitely check it out
Awesome! Is this only for today?
I believe it is ongoing!
KATH this is so great!!! I went to the Share Our Strength annual Conference of Leaders back in November and was so inspired by all the volunteers/employees that work tirelessly every day to feed the hungry children of America.
