Shaky and Flaky

December 16, 2010

Somebody drank too much last night

Not my finest morning. Feeling kind of shaky.

And the skies are flaky – can you see them!?

IMG_4959Blog

Tiny, tiny flakes are falling!

I am taking Karen to an appointment this morning and getting my hair cut at 2. Hope there isn’t too much accumulation until after those events happen!

Breakfast today was a mix of dry toast and OJ

GH toast with mashed banana with Sunflower butter and honey

And that orange..

Ha, yep…you just can’t do Wacky Wednesdays after college, can you? Anytime I drink during the week now, I seriously regret it. How did we DO it back then?!?

As a college senior, I can say with full certainty that sometimes a fun night out is worth the headache and icky feeling the next day. :)

mashed banana with Sunflower butter and honey looks PERFECT. SFSButter is my FAVE nut butter. Ever.

Coffee. Check.

Hoping your headache goes away, soon. I need to remember I’m not 21 anymore sometimes too and can’t keep up with my, ahem, old pace :)

Maybe try a vitacoco. Perfect recovery drink for more than just sports :) Seems to work for me after a little too much bourbon so maybe it’ll revive you too?

Ouch, hope you feel better soon Kath!! Green monsters are my latest hangover cure, made with maca root powder and 2 frozen wheatgrass cubes (among other ingredients, like bananas and vanilla protein). Hope this morning isn’t too painful for you!

Feel better! I’m pretty stoked about the Garlic Gold deal on OpenSky. I ordered it for my mom for her birthday in August and she’s been dropping hints here and there that she hopes I get it for her for Christmas, too. This is perfect, thank you :)

Sorry you’re feeling bad. I do that from time to time too. I think I’m okay the night before (kept an eye on alcohol/water intake) only to wake up shaky & queasy. Not fun :( I’m sure you will feel better after the food & coffee settles :) Have a great day!

I saw your tweets about the snow…be careful! All we got was ice, and I had to drive over an hour at 6 a.m. this morning to take a licensing test. It was so unsafe, there were cars (and trucks) sliding off everywhere! Thankfully, I made it safe but talk about scary!

Have a great afternoon!

I love that you’re so open about being hungover! I feel gross when I have just two drinks these days. I think it has to do with knowing what my “good-normal” feels like more now than when I was in college and could drink much more with less pain. Haha, I’ve raised the bar!
