See You Soon

Tonight we attended a “see you soon” (not farewell!) party for one of our employees, Ellen, who is moving to Northern VA where her fiancé got a new job.

We will miss seeing her day after day!

The dinner was organized by the staff at Mono Loco, a restaurant favorite!

I had to partake in a virgin Spice-A-Rita! Best virgin drink ever : )

It was a bit steamy in our booth for 14

I feasted upon Bobby’s Burrito in a bowl – Crispy Cod + Spicy Shrimp! Plus beans, rice, greens and special sauces.

I wondered if I would be able to finish it all since Mono Loco tends to leave me stuffed, but I had no trouble polishing off my dish! Take that stomach space ; )

After dinner, we went over to Mary Beth’s for some dessert!

Served in a fancy red solo cup : )

Tucking into bed now – big day tomorrow!

Hard to say goodbye to people you know! Yummy burrito bowl – reminds me of the naked burritos I get from Qdoba. Luv

Burrito bowls are always a great choice, especially when fish is an option!

Let’s be honest here: everything is better in a red solo cup.

Girl, I would DEVOUR that dinner. Shrimp doesn’t last very long in front of my face.

It can be sad when people move away. It looks like you have such a happy group working with you!

At least she’s not moving too far! And what a great party!

Yeah… Mono Loco is SO good. I ate half of my meal when I went there, and was stuffed! Then again, I also had chips and guac and plantains…

I had Mexican food last night, too! First time in months (which is way too long!). Vegetable burrito–delish :)

A crispy cod burrito bowl sounds delicious. I am experimenting with making Mexican food a bit outside of the box at the moment, so might have to give this a go.
