I had high hopes for this sandwich.
Arnold Rye bread with ham, cheese, tomato, pickle , mustard and even a little mayo. I wanted a 100% authentic childhood sandwich. But something was missing. I think the nuts and seeds of Great Harvest…

What a beautiful day and an exquisite lunch. I stopped by out local Great Harvest bakery and got the cinnamon chip loaf! It’s absolutely delightful. Thank you so much for always talking about the greatness of Great Harvest. It’s an amazing bakery.

I have to say, that sandwich looks pretty dang good! There’s something to be said for simple, old-school food at the beach!

I totally understand about the childhood sandwich. I always loved pb+j, but once I insisted on pb+ mayonnaise. It was gross, I only took one bite. For some reason in my little girl head I thought it would be amazing. Ah well.
What I would give for a warm beach right now instead of this overcast weather. You look like you’re having so much fun!

No Kath say it’s not so! I am not ready for your beach vacation to end! Sad to say, but my husband does not like the beach. Our beaches are not well known for warmth even in the heat of summer.
