Not my nails, which really could use some, but the silver! I agree, looks much better : )
Breakfast this morning was a big bowl of whipped banana oats with strawberries and cottage cheese stirred in near the end of cooking, more banana on top (since we’re going out of town I didn’t want to leave it in the fridge that long!) and a halfsies split of almond butter and Biscoff Crunchy.
Polished it all off
Served with some rasp-lemonade water. Matt is at the market, I’m packing and then heading to the bakery and then we’re racing out of town to make it to Charlotte by 7 tonight for a grand reunion with our friends (and a BabyHTP fun day tomorrow!)

Oh geez. I love almond butter! I’ve made both raw and roasted, and the roasted turned out so good! Creamy and perfect
I’d never had it on oatmeal before until i saw yours- Delicious!
That sounds like a bowl of PB&J perfection. So glad I read your blog before I ate breakfast today.
I feel like no one has silver to polish anymore! I sure don’t!
isn’t biscoff really bad for you?
No (especially a tsp at a time). But it’s not a health food either.
OK, I gotta know–what is the cottage cheese like in oatmeal?!!? Is it savory or sweet?
Savory – but sweet because of bananas. It’s like cheesecake
Ohhhhh, _that_ makes sense! After I commented I started imagining all sorts of flavors and thought for sure that you’d respond and say it’s not savory or sweet, but more accurately, UMAMI! Whatever that means! ????
so fun that you can be a part of caitlin’s shower!! and breakfast looks delicious, love that almond butter. have a safe trip
Sounds like a perfect breakfast! Oats+banana+almond butter are the tastiest things ever! I will try adding chia seeds to my oatmeal to make it creamier too, see how it works
+using jar as a bottle is so cute!
Sounds like you have a great weekend planned! Have a great trip Kath!
That looks like the perfect bowl of oats. Must get more bananas today! Have fun at the shower.

i <3 biscoff! really want this breakfast but we're out of bananas!
LOVE that bowl!! I need to get my hands on some Biscoff – I’ve only ever tried Trader Joe’s cookie butter…
Polished silver and a polished off bowl of oatmeal.
Mmmmmmm! I have never even seen Biscoff, so it has yet to grace my life.
my nails could seriously use a polish…
You polish your silverware? I’m impressed.
Busy, Busy. Travel Safe.
You must be going to HTP’s baby shower! Have fun
I have some silver jewelry I really need to polish… gonna take that home with me next week and see if my mom can help!
I thought it was about nail polish! The utensil is so pretty! I love it.
Your rasp-lemonade water looks so refreshing! Enjoy your weekend!
Your breakfast always looks so good and I love the mason jars! I bought a dozen last week to make water kefir and they work very well.
I had oats for breakfast too – yum!
Have a safe and fun trip!
I love it whenever you use that spoon, I wonder where you bought it from?
It’s beautiful.
It was my grandmothers
I need to polish my jewelry today! Thanks for the reminder
Have a fun time today!
In the pictures it looks like overnight oats! lol
I have a question…I try and steer clear of white processed foods (white rice, white breads) and I try to focus on whole grains. I’ve noticed that when I have foods made with white refined flours my body is on some sugar high…does this happen to a lot of people? I don’t consume much added sugar in my diet so could this be a culprit as well? Thanks Kath, I really appreciate it
It definitely could be related to the white flour glycemic index
