AmyinOR,
It's an Amazing Grass shaker and I think it holds about 24 oz? I got it at the Blog Summit, but I bet you can order them online. It's probably the same size as all of the shakers that look like that.

The smoothie sounds tasty and sounds so much more exotic with the acai powder. Can I ask what size your smoothie cup is and where you got it (or what brand it is since I'm guessing it was another cool freebie)? Thanks and have a great weekend!

That "soup" looks really good! I've been craving soup with the cooler weather, and I think I shall add this recipe to my to-try list!

That's actually the way I usually make my split pea "soup". I like to do it in a crock pot while I am at work. I intentionally use less water than I should so that it comes out nice an thick like that. Love it!!!

That acai stuff sounds great! I've been craving smoothies this week because our weather warmed up (temporarily). I might have to break down and make some, even if it means wearing an extra layer of clothes ;-)

I've been seeing so many pictures of split peas on blogs lately. I don't think I've had it since I was a kid but I'm all of a sudden craving it!! Sounds like a perfect meal to warm you up after a cold smoothie :)

Jean,
Lol - I saw that sticker too. It doesn't say "expired" or "use by" on it, so I'm guessing that's a packaging date or something.

Stacy,
Oooo fun idea!!

Emily,
I have never tried it, but what about liquid smoke? I have heard it's good for vegan char flavor that you can't get from meat.

megan,
Honestly, I probably wouldn't buy it. I have a pretty conservative view of nutrition and think the antioxidants you get from local/frozen fruits are probably sufficient to antiox your body. But for cancer or those in a tedious state where free radical damage is more likely, it would definitely be worth adding for an extra precaution if you had the money to spend. I have yet to try it in yogurt or anything else like oats, so it might surprise me though!

Christa,
It's a Cuisinart Smartpower.

Kelly,
Oh goodness -be careful!
