I am so humbled. In disbelief! Thank you to the thousands of you who must have voted for me!!
KERF won Best Food Blog tonight!!!! 2+ years. 3x per day. 700+ meals. Thank you!!
Tonight’s dinner was put on by Outstanding In The Field, which took place in Greenleaf’s produce warehouse.
Totally me:
There were Shrimp Fries (crackers?) on every table to much on
And menus
Cheers!
We all started with some of Bonny Doon white wine
The passed aps were some kind of delicious tuna puree.
Followed by a pickled veggie platter
And more wine!
The soup course was a little cold, but the flavor made up for it 
Then came the calamari!! Cooked with veggies and udon noodles, which were so slimy and perfect.
I especially loved the tableside sparkling water!
And the blogger wild side
Entrees arrived with a garlic + curry crusted salmon
And a Mushroom Risotto
Both were excellent!!!!
So was the red wine
And the Brussels sprouts…OMG!!!!!!
Phenomenal
The last entree was beef + oxtail, which I thought was actually pretty delicious. Very tender!
Dessert was rice pudding with local pears….mmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!
Then came the Foodbuzz Awards!!!
Jenna won “Blogger most likely to have a cooking show” and Tina reaped in multiple awards with “Blogger you would most like to have a drink with” and ” best healthy living blog” among others! Caitlin + Operation Beautiful won for “best humanitarian effort”!
And needless to say I was totally FLOORED to win Best Food Blog. Guess all of those meals posted over 2.26 years was worth it. Thank you voters. Thank you readers. Thank you Foodbuzz!!!!!
I had a little celebratory dessert wine on the way out!!
Once back at the hotel, Jenna, Tina and all decided on a celebratory drink + dessert!!! The chocolate torte was fantastic!!
And I got a Manhattan, extra sweet!!!!!!!
With FOUR cherries!!
Jenna and I can barely type in our beds, so we’re off to bed. Too bad it’s 11:42 instead of 9:42 tonight!!
Today was one of the best days of my life. I’m sorry for it to end!!
