Apparently that’s how you pronounce Oak Ridge! Even our Google GPS agrees!
We slept in this morning at Gran Bett’s. It was so cozy to wake up in the wooded mountains of Tennessee!
Matt and I decided to go for a run this morning. Ate half a banana and went out for a perfect crisp fall morning jog. No technology… Maybe about 3 miles… Of mountainous hills!
Back at Casa Grandma, we dined on toast, flash frozen summer peaches, scrambled eggs and coffee cake. And coffee!
Just whipped up some sandwiches for our giant drive home. Can’t wait to get there though!
(PS, sorry for the horizontal photos! Apparently rotating doesn’t carry through online…!)

Those peaches look delicious, even when they’re horizontal
Have a great trip back home!
I can only imagine just how beautiful it would be up there, especially with the fall air around.
Have a beautiful Sunday guys!
I recognize those mugs: Longaberger! Almost my whole family has the Longaberger dishes + mugs. Reminds me of home. Safe travels!

Ya gotta love the way locals speak. Keeps life interesting!
Looks like a cozy bed and breakfast. Mountain air, gotta love it! Have a safe trip home, you two!
Your grandma had adorable plates!
I love Fall morning walks/runs/jogs/whatevers! The air is incredible this time of year I think!
Have a great rest of your trip!
Yay for that mug!! Longerberger mugs are so nostalgic to me! Those were always around in my childhood and was even sent to college with 1 for comfort.
What a lovely breakfast! Such pretty pictures, as usual.
Sounds like a glorious Sunday morning…safe travels home!
the pix still look good – is it the way you hold the phone when you snap ‘em?
really really still!
Sounds like a wonderful sunday morning! Have a safe drive back!
Yum to the peaches. It sounds like you had grand time over there. Sometimes getting away from it all is just the thing you need.
Since photography is one of the main selling points of your blog, please stop using hipstamatic and other apps on your photos. It cheapens them.
I think you should go “techno-less” more often Kath. Seems to give you a break and time away from ‘work’!
Runs without technology can be so refreshing! It’s nice not to always worry about pace and distance.
