Back 2 normal.
[Toast with banana, Nuttzo (a Christmas present from Karen!), chias and clem]
Followed a few hours later by a Stonyfield fruity yogurt topped with Cville Cluster
And an apple!
Greens + beans for dinner!
Almost. We have zero veggies in our fridge!

I LOVE Nuttzo! I usually end up mixing nut butters together on my toast anyway, so Nuttzo makes it a lot easier
Love your coffee mug btw!
Vacations are definitely fun.. but getting back to normal is great too! I love routine.. and that is what being home does for you!
after 6 days in NOLA and a few new years celebrations, i’m looking forward to my “normal” too. for a week, at least…
This looks awfully similar to my breakfast this morning!
I love the holidays but I’m so happy to be getting back into a normal routine, too! My body can’t take much more celebrating! Happy New Year!
NUTTZO!!!! Haven’t had that in ages!!! So delicious!!!
It feels good to eat healthy after a vacation! I ate so much crap over the past few weeks that I’m actually craving vegetables today.
i love the feeling of getting back to “normalcy” when you return from a vacation!! glad you’re home safe!
I need a box of clementines! I keep forgetting to buy one when I’m grocery shopping!!
Greens and beans for me too with pork for the boys. I have to be a good southern girl! Happy New Year Kath!
Oh my, you are one energetic lady. Already back in the swing of things.
Cute mug! I love how unique ALL of your dishes are!
Happy New Year!
Your trip looks like it was a lot of fun.
That being said, I’m glad you’re home so that I have some seriously scrumptious and inspiring meals to look forward to. Ha! =)
After traveling, there is nothing like eating that first fresh green salad at home.
AFTER you go to the grocery store since there’s usually nothing left in the fridge that’s fresh (or if you’re like me, that one lone bag of carrots or mushy apple that’s been there for god knows how long)
Welcome home!
normal feel so good sometimes. so good
After the past two weeks, I am eager to be back to normal, starting today. Lots of veggies, fruits, and protein!
It’s always a great feeling to get back to a routine after a vacation, especially with healthy eating!
Normal. That is a word I can get comfortable hearing again. So much celebrating in such a short time. Today was our day to transition out of holiday food back into REAL FOOD. Boy, did it feel good. You really do forget how good a plain ol’ salad can be. Or even how sweet a simple clementine is when finishing a meal.
Here’s to normal! Cheers!
You’re home, I will now have to remember to read your blog 3x a day…
Home sweet home! I had beans and greens for lunch today – lots of luck for 2012.
Haven’t tried Nutzo, but I hear it’s tasty!
I have to say, I’m a little jealous of your beautiful new porch and all the beautiful pictures you take out there. It looks so bright and inviting, definitely gave me plenty of ideas for when I get my own place. Looks like your enjoying being home. I always love vacations and getting away from the day to day stuff, but it makes me appreciate home so much more too
Happy New Year Kath!
I agree with other commentators… vacationing is great, but returning home and back to normal can sometimes be just as good. I’m kinda excited to get back to work tomorrow!
2 breakfast meals sounds good to me! best meal of the day.
I don’t think there’s a better feeling than coming home and getting back to a routine after a long vacation. Enjoy your greens and beans for dinner!
Ahhh…the comforts of home! Just back home myself…looking forward to laying my head down in my own bed…I have come to the conclusion that futons are not meant for more than a few nights!
Back to everyday life, and the grind, huh?

I went the same route today–cleaning all aspects of my life and fruit…lots of fruit
Please say cville cluster will be on open sky soon! I have been craving it so badly and our great harvest doesn’t carry it!
Hoping so!
I’ve never heard of Nutzo before; can I ask what it is? =)
It’s a super crunchy multi-nut-and-seed butter. Also on the expensive side, but good!!

Simple, normal food tastes SO good after a week away from regular eating!
