It made moving sooo much easier and made life at the the new (much smaller) place even better - I didn't have to worry about where to store or fit certain things (good-bye 14' couch!). :-) I did the sort/purge/pack/donate/recycle/toss/sell routine a few months before our latest move and what a blessing that was!
