Sundays and pancakes just go together…love the festive breakfast!
Hope those pancakes warmed you up from your chill last night! Love the festivity
Merry Sunday indeed! Have a great day, Kath!
We made pancakes too! Ours were not as fancy on top, but they were cut into shapes!
Have a wonderful Sunday.
Sprinkles, jimmies, 100′s and 1000′s – whatever you call them, they are always so much fun!
Matt – your pancakes have wrinkles…:)
Festive pancakes for a chilly day with a warm cuppa…looks perfect! Did you get any snow? Visiting at my mom’s and we woke up to a blanket of snow on the ground! It’s beginning to feel a bit like Christmas! Driving home today with my mom…hope we had some snowfall at home to keep the festive mood afloat! My boys will be so excited! I hope the boots still fit…have yet a need to pull them out!
I wish we had snow!!
I made pancakes for breakfast, too…Not quite as colorful as your, though…
Is that a Christmas tree I see in your coffee foam??
I think you’re right!! I see the tree too
One day I will master the perfect pancake!
Hey Kath! I’ve been reading your blog for a while, but I don’t think I’ve ever commented. Anyway, your pancakes look so adorable! I love the sprinkles :] For breakfast this morning I tried a slightly modified version of your cottage cheese oatmeal, and I can say they were the best oats I’ve had in a while! Thanks!
Thanks for your comment Paulina! Glad the oats were delish
sprinkle picture=awesome!
You had your Sunday morning pancakes! Enjoy your day off!
i love everything about this meal! pancakes, Biscoff, nut butter, candied pecans, sprinkles… !!
That shot of just the sprinkles is awesome! Biscoff is the best topping (aside from sprinkles, of course).
Spinach is the perfect start to ANY day!
What on earth was I saying— I was thinking SPRINKLES are the perfect start to any day! YIKES! I need more sleep, I believe. Happy Sunday, Kath!
Hahah – I thought it was just a hidden message coming from your blog
LOVE the sprinkles, Kath! Have a great day!
Love the Biscoff action and those pancakes are PERFECT and with the sprinkles..so festive.
I have found Dutch cookie butter spread down here and it’s *to die for*. It’s a Dutch island and they get all these spreads and goodies from Holland; I’m in heaven. Cookie butter has been in full force for me!
Love the colors!
Must be a pancake day- we had them too!
How did you get your Biscoff so smooth? YUM!
That’s the Wild Squirrel and the #1 reason why I love it – it is soooo liquidy!
A Ha! Thanks!
I need sprinkles! Haha to cute
Those are the most festive pancakes ever!
Awesome photos…cool shot of the stray sprinkles!
Hi Kath:
Do you just whip up the cottage cheese and banana for Matt’s breakfast? Also I wanted to ask you if you refrigerate your Biscoff. I did and when I took it out, it had white streaks thru it, they went away as it came to room temperature. I’m assuming that it’s the fat content. I e mailed them to ask. My jar is dated 4/2012 so it’s still good, that I know.
That is the fat. Scrape it off (or stir it up if you want the excess I guess) and you can still use it.
Do you mean when I make cottage cheese whipped banana oats? I follow the recipe on this page and then stir the cottage cheese in at the end: http://www.katheats.com/kaths-tribute-to-oatmeal/
I think the Biscoff is fine – I agree it’s probably just the components chilling in the fridge. I keep mine on the counter.
I’m so jealous of your sprinkles! Such a cute idea!
I hope we get at least a decent amount of snow before Christmas. It does not feel like Christmas to me without snow.
We had a dusting of snow on the ground this morning, but it has melted.

My Wild Squirrel order from Open Sky finally arrived late last week and I think I’ve incorporated peanut butter into every meal since. SO delicious! I love every flavor!
So glad you like it!
Gorgeous and so festive!
I found Biscoff today at my local grocery store!!!!! It’s amazing! I will savor every spoonful!

Just bought biscoff and tried it on my oatmeal today….delicious!
Love that GH mix (i should really just get a t-shirt that reads “GH CVILLE FAN CLUB” – I feel like all I do is gush over how good your stuff is. I promise I actually really feel that way and am not just saying that! Haha.
