You’re a brave (and warm) girl for having a smoothie for breakfast!

I have no idea how you are staying warm with a smoothie! I am freezing and I just had my hot apple oats! The chocolate does look good though! Have a great day Kath!

Yuck. I love snow but hate driving in it. It makes me nervous.
At least it’s not as bad as here. In Sarnia 300 ppl were stuck in their cars for 24 hours because the roads closed.

I had a smoothie for breakfast as well. With my space heater running the whole time :)

Have you ever had Hemp Protein in a shake? I just got a sample of Nutiva Organic Hemp Protein Powder and thought if anyone knew anything about it, it would be you.

23 Kath December 15, 2010 at 10:38 am

I don’t think I have tried any hemp powders, but I think that’s one of the better kinds?

Please please please OpenSky, consider shipping to Canada…

As for winter weather, I went for a run this morning in -13 Celsius (8 Fahrenheit) plus windchill. It’s really not bad if you dress for it! As I looked across the barren white landscape I felt like I was the only person in the world. Then I came back and tried to have a smoothie for breakfast. Unfortunately an accident sent the smoothie all over the floor and my running clothes.

Just received my garlic gold and bought a gift pack for my daughter and family. I’m hoping for a 50% off on Vita Mix – which I’d love to own but can’t afford at full price. 75 degrees in south Texas today – no snow in sight!

Smoothies for winter; yours looks great! And If it is going to have to be cold I would like snow, but not so sure in southern Louisiana.

A bit off topic, but I saw an article that made me think of you–

The article that said McDonald’s is going to add oatmeal to the breakfast menu! I never thought I’d see the day when a fast food chain would sell oatmeal. I don’t know the details, so it very well may be laden with sugar, etc.

Is it sad that I’m already sick of snow? Our school shut down today for the FOURTH time in two weeks because of the snow!

3-5 cm sounds like the perfect amount though. Enjoy it! :D
