Manual Labor

April 30, 2011

The space went from construction zone to bakery in 6 hours of manual labor. We swept, cleaned, wiped, moved and assembled.  Whew!

So exciting!! We used to have a large Hobart floor mixer at the bakery in our stand. Aah, memories of 100 lb bags of flour and sugar! :D So much fun!

Looks like things are shaping up nicely.

The wall dings make me wonder why the contractor had the painting done before all the construction was finished?

They’ll be doing touch ups! We had to do some of the paint before

Working bees! HEAB, did you have to invest a lot of money initially to start up your business? I’m curious as to whole starting your own business thing works.

Wow. You guys made some major progress after I left. It was so nice to finally meet you & see the bakery space. Seeing how tiny you are in person made me think about counting calories again. I really need to drop a few pounds this summer. And by a few I really mean about 20 or so.

So nice to meet you!!

Try eating real food and intuitive eating first – although calorie counting can really help with portion control. We should meet for a walk sometime!

That would be awesome. I walk my dog a lot in the evenings after work when the days are longer.

Things are looking great, Kath! Wanted to let you know that microfiber clothes are a godsend for cleaning up dust. We’ve remodeled two houses and I think the only reason why I don’t STILL have dust everywhere is because of them.

Am I the only one that had trouble with the slide show? It took so long for each photo to load that I had to give up after #4. I would love to see them all in the usual single page format!!
